Feature Request
This doesn't exactly have to do with profiles so much as profile search, but I had no where else to put this.
In profile search, It'd be cool to search by overall rank as well as everything else. For things like finding an almost equal person to challenge, or to play in multiplayer, or just to see how many more points you have until you move up one in overall rank. Personally, I think something like that would be cool. Does anyone agree?

Though the idea of it is good, Overall Rank doesn't show how good any player is. It just shows who has the most points. Tier Points would be a better way to search but there are many people, like myself, that don't even bother to play every song in the game.

Overall rank = Average Total Score x Density of Playtime / Length of Your Account
Tier Points = Skills on the top 100 hardest songs in the game Level rank = Highest scores of every song ranked in comparison to everyone else. In my opinion, Level Rank can discern most skill relations. Tier points are more for the master/guru/god level people only. Overall is a measure of how much you play. Oh yeah... you have to play every song for level rank and tier point to be accurate.

Great idea!
It would make MP and challenges a lot more interesting and evenly matched, I think.

Just letting even subscribers view other people's tier point lists was conlcuded to be a horrendous strain on the database (Compiling a list of the top like, 100 Tier points holders once, by one person took something like 3 hours to do)
Making it auto-searched and updated to allow for real-time comparisons? I shudder to think. |

Well this is overall rank... Everything under 1000 goes down to fast to be worthwhile. And it is updated every moment. Only depends on how much you play. |
