take your screenshot using ctrl + PrtScn. open Paint. Paste into Paint. Crop down to a reasonable size. save in paint as a png or jpg. upload to photobucket. take the IMG tag code that photobucket gives you, and paste that in your post.

To simplify things, you can also go advanced and on additional options under the category "Attach Files" click "Manage Attachments" and you should get a browse button and look for the saved image there. Make sure it's the appropriate size like Tass said. Theres rules on how big or small the IMG file should be.

Note: Also when you click on Manage Attachments, it should say "Attachment Key" depending on the type of file your posting, and should show the proper max width and height. Its very helpful when your trying to upload a file into forums.

What does Ctrl+Prnt Scrn do? I just press Prnt Scrn then I just do Tass's technique and use .png because it retains more quality.

1. Press Prnt Scrn button on your keyboard
2. Winlogo+R, mspaint, enter
3. Ctrl+V, Save as, change jpg to png on file type selection
4. Upload to imageshack
5. Paste image url inside of image code
6. Post

Ctrl doesn't do anything, but Alt + Prnt Scrn only captures the focused window.

Oh, that's weird. I haven't seen a keyboard that needs that before.

when i try browsing for the attachment...it says its an invalid file...and the pic is tiny...so i dont know whats going on there...i used tass's idea for now...but if somone could simply explain how i can just attach the file, that would be great (also tass, can u just make it possible to copy and paste onto posts, it would be so much easier)

The reason the picture is so small is because you are using the thumbnail.
Scroll to the bottom of the page after you uploaded your picture, under where the ads are, there will be more links. Uncheck the box that says "Include details" and select the link for "Hotlink for forums (1)" Copy the link and paste it to your post. Hopes this helps.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you can't because of how forums work.
