1st Runs of Terribleness.

I can do better... This file really isn't that hard to me.


Sight-Read SDG HYPE!


Note to self: Take off mirror mod before re-attempting. Also, jacks = no.

I was kinda bored~

As usual, I play the songs for the new week once straight through. This week was no different. Connect (House Soul Remix) was an 'unplayed' song for me...and it's a 54. I usually do ok-average on mid-50s, so I wasn't expecting to do much, that is until I played it.

I felt pretty confident afterwards...sight-read SDG of a 54?! Yay me! I decided to attack the song again as the patterns didn't seem too difficult for me to follow.

One less good than my 1st run. But was it still a fluke for me to get a better SDG? I played again.

Once again, one less good than the previous run! It was then that I started to think 'Maybe I can actually AAA this!' So I played the song again~

A FLAG. Those stupid hands towards the end of the file got me. But then again, my hands were kinda shaking as well once I realized I was that far in the file and still holding the PFC. Doesn't help with accuracy much either. :P
That was it, I was determined to AAA or bust.
After changing the speed mod a bit, I did this...

I started to lose a little hope after this one as my goods shot up to 5. After a few more plays at this speed mod, I decided to go back to my normal speed mod and change the offset a bit. But while in the options, I decided to start the song up for some reason...
Derp.

I laughed at myself for a moment before giving it another go.

Another flag.
Damnit.
This time after the hands...and towards the END of song (post 800th note) I lose the AAA...*sigh*
Could it be possible for me to do it? Could I AAA a 54? My hope was all but lost, especially after a few additional runs left me with SDG's.
I wanted to quit and work on another file, but I didn't. Determination was still a factor in all of this and I wanted the perfect score.
Going back into options, I decided to turn the Game Volume down to 0.1 and just go with the flow of the notes for the most part, only hearing very little of the song itself.
Taking a deep breath, I play once again...

WOOHOO!!
