It's a fairly good way to measure skill level. However they are very hard to get.

its different for different people. Set goals for yourself. When you reach them set more, after you reach your goal twice you are "good" in your eyes. For me i knew i was good when i unlocked [heavy]

Being 'good' is kind of a subjective viewpoint depending on who you ask.

Some people will say being in one of the Tiers makes you good, others will say if your average rank is below 200, you're good, more yet will say that if you have over 400 AAAs, you're good etc.

I think if you have to ask if you're good, you're probably not very good at FFR. You'll know when you have good scores.

You are good at FFR when you play in front of someone who's never seen FFR before and hear the sweet sweet sound of their jaw hitting the floor and smell the sweet sweet smell of their pants filling to the brim with reverent poo.

^ agreed.

seriously - when you reach goals you never thought you would obtain. its very subjective. i think im getting good, but im not there yet. but i like to see my freinds watch me play a lvl 4 or 5 song and them freak out cause they cant comprehend someone moving their fingers that fast. its even more fun for them to see me play a lvl. 8 or 9 song. they have heart attacks.

HAHA! Good stuff.

Hm i dunno. When i first played this game at school when i was 10, everyone though i was like, some sort of genius. It all depends on what you think "good" is.

When you press the big red button that has "DO NOT PRESS" written on it in blood and instantly your transformed into a God that can solve a Rubix cube faster than you can say supercalifradulisticexpalidotious... then and only then are you good at FFR.

I'm not that great by any means, but I still consider myself to be ok. You're not an FFR god though, until Synth pops by your house completely ****faced saying "Just take it. Take the site."

To be honest though, good is relative to each player. What is good for me might be considered terrible to another player.

I laughed. Post of the thread, definitely.

Good is definitely subjective like others have said. I think it's most logically determined by the level of difficulty you can play well on (but even "well" is subjective, isn't it?). If you take into account that there are (for the most part) 12 difficulties, then playing well on difficulty 9 or so makes you pretty good. Some people would say that you're good if you play on difficulty 6 though... and perhaps it just depends on how good THEY are at the time they're saying that.

the sad truth is, to be accpeted as 'good' by the whole FFR comminuty, you have to pretty much be rank 1-5.......(average or overall)

but if you ask separately, then it does apply to who you are talking to, rubix would think i suck, my friend who just started playing thinks im uber.
