Using an ever-growing archive of found documents to create an autonomous sense of space, this work can be seen as a self-reflective window into the commissioning party's own reality.

Much of the piece is saturated with obviousness, mental inertia, clichés and bad jokes. In areas these elements clash, appearing idiosyncratic or quirky; at other times, they seem typical by-products of American superabundance and marketing. These elements question the coerciveness that is derived from humanity's assiduous exploration of profound meaning in the superficial aesthetic appearance of an image. By rejecting an objective truth, the commissioner of this piece implores us to reflect on the closely related subjects of archive and memory. This often results in an examination of both the human need for "conclusive" stories and the question whether such anecdotes "fictionalise" history.

Contrasting the previous work "D5" with this piece is an investigation of concepts such as authenticity and objectivity. The lone visible word "is" serves as a parody of mass media by exaggerating certain formal aspects inherent to our contemporary society. Daily, recognizable elements become an unprecedented situation in which the viewer is confronted with the conditioning of his own perception and has to reconsider his biased position.

First Dashboard Pass for Team Pokemon has been completed. 41 signatures in total.

Should also add that I came across 0 usernames on my lists that weren't on the dashboard already, so from the looks of it no one accounted for in the First Dashboard Pass will be getting held back to the Second Dashboard Pass.

Still going to do the Second Dashboard Pass though in case they didn't update the signups list to match actual placements.

My request: division 20 :P
using this image and a blue color scheme. I'll leave the rest up to you, but if you want additional direction, maybe some Dungeons & Dragons theming, or 8-bit sidescroller landscaping, or as simple as geometric patterning.

I have a Tournament Signature Request.

If possible, I would like for the background to either be the DDR SuperNOVA 2 Title Screen, or a background image of DDR A. As far as my division, it will either be D4 or D5 (Depending on my final division placement for the tournament). Also, if possible, could put Index Player on the Upper right corner of the signature, please?
