TWG IX Signups! Manhunt! 7pm EST
TWG IX, Manhunt will have 14 players. There will be 13 hunters and 1 hunted. The hunted will get to kill 2 players in each night phase, and the collective group will lynch 1 player each day phase.
Signups will open up at 7pm EST tonight as per FFR Time (aprox 7:10 normal time). That is 4 hours and 20 minutes from now. The hunted will be HAND PICKED BY ME after all 14 players are signed up. There will be NO PMs sent out. The hunted will be IMed by me, and they may in no way reveal that IM with the rest of the players (and it makes no sense for them to do so either). You all may contact me to campaign your case for being the hunted, although it will most likely only serve as entertainment for me. I can't foresee any ways to cheat this game, but the usual rules that are found in the forum apply to this game. Day 1 will last 72 hours and Days 2-4 (if applicable) will last 48 hours each. An instalynch automatically ends the day as well. The reason for the long days is that there are NO MEANS OF TRUST for the humans, so talking in the thread and on AIM is crucial. I expect these 14 players to be VERY ACTIVE (read: kilga et al who aren't, you may not wish to sign up). I would like to see at least 5 posts per player per 24 hours, but if not possible, I expect to see at least 3. Lastly, the final decision on who plays in TWG IX, Manhunt is solely up to me. If I feel that you are unable to post 3+ times a day, or if your logical thinking isn't good enough to play in this game, you won't. I want this game to be balanced, and only through intelligent, active human players is that possible. IF PEOPLE WHO ARE SIGNED UP FOR JTWG2 WANT TO PLAY IN TWG9, THEY MUST REMOVE THEMSELVES FROM JTWG2 BEFORE SIGNING UP FOR TWG9. NO PLAYER IN TWG9 IS ALLOWED TO BE PLAYING IN JTWG2 AS WELL. List of Players: (14 slots left)

Tass, is insta-lynch still in effect? What about phantoms?
Also, if you're expecting 5 posts per player per day, 48 hour days might be a tad excessively long. |

I made um... I'd hope I follow them in a game I run. And, that is why i said 3+. I expect at least 3 posts per person per day. I know this format is unbalanced towards the hunted, and I am trying to do everything I can to balance it. Long days, forcing people to post, etc.

So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =( In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz. So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright. And I write the blog for their website. Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O |
