Your top 5 breakfast cereals

I've recently been thinking about how pretty much all breakfast cereals are awesome so I thought it would be interesting to get top 5s from you wonderful people of FFR.

Along with your 5 favorites post your least favorite too

Favorites:
5. Apple Jacks
4. Froot Loops
3. Rice Krispies
2. Cheerios
1. Waffle Crisp

Least Favorite: Smacks

I like this thread.

5. Cookie Crisp (even though I usually hate chocolate, it's nice to get a very mild flavor with milk)
4. Frosted Flakes (great tasting, but I can't stand having to chase individual flakes near the end of my bowl)
3. Froot Loops (yum.)
2. Cinnamon Toast Crunch (amazing to have in the morning, the amount of flavor is incredible)
1. Lucky Charms (it literally puts everything I want in a cereal in a single bowl. Crunchy texture, soft texture, fruity, marshmallowy, very flavorful, and the taste of the milk after the cereal has sit for a little bit is great

)

The only reason Cinnamon Toast Crunch didn't make my list is because there's a lot of residue leftover in the milk and it makes my mouth feel funny lol.

It gives the milk a great flavor. But I can't see myself eating it all the time because it's strictly -one- flavor. That's why I like Lucky Charms so much - you get different fruit flavors and you can sweeten it up with marshmallow bites.

OH right, I cannot stand Reese's Puffs. Reese's cups are one of my favorite treats, but the cereal, just painful to look at/eat.

1. Reese's Puffs (not like the REAL peanut butter cups but still my top 1)
2. Cinnamon Toast Crunch (yum!)
3. Cocoa Puffs (I honestly put them in my chocolate ice cream sometimes haha)
4. Cap'n Crunch Peanut Butter (this makes me feel nostalgic!)
5. Special K Fruit and Yogurt (my first munchies snack and it's pretty good hehe)

5. Rice Krispies -- There is something weirdly satisfying about shoving my tongue into the center of the bowl and emerging with a bunch of these sticking to it.
4. Corn Flakes -- These just taste grrrrrrrreat, without the "frosting"...
3. Honey Nut Cheerios -- The perfect amount of sweetness in the classic breakfast cereal... mmmmm.
2. Shreddies -- I have always been fascinated by these for some reason, and they taste great to boot.
1. Just Right -- I could eat this stuff every day at every meal. I'd probably shit my brains out as a result, but it's my favourite cereal BY FAR.

I generally dislike cereals that are packed with sugar though. I'll eat Golden Grahams or Cinnamon Toast Crunch or Honeycomb or Froot Loops or what have you, but not very often. Honey Nut Cheerios are the sweetest I tend to go.

I also eat cereal without milk. I typically abhor soggy food because it makes me want to vomit, and I'd prefer it if my milk were chunk/sugar-free.

Can't get the mini mini mini mini wheats out of my head now, however.

5. Grape-Nuts. One of the few cereals that actually absorbs milk and that you can--nay, have to--leave soaking for a while while you go about your morning routine.

4. Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Oh, man, there is an insane amount of sweetness in this cereal. Not as much as Calvin's famous Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs, but close.

3. Multi-Bran Chex. This stuff actually tastes good...and it's Chex, who'd have thought.

2. Lucky Charms. An insane variety of flavors and textures, but the milk drink at the end is a bit of a downer.

1. Cocoa Puffs. We literally cannot keep these things in the house. They taste great and they turn the milk into chocolate milk by the time you're done with the bowl.

Least favorite? I'm going to say Special K Red Berries. The flakes aren't that bad, but the dried strawberry slices are revolting. Being in milk reconstitutes them a bit, but by then it's too late.
