Dance of the Rose Petals

Here's a poem I made based off of sacrifice and greed. Do enjoy reading it~

In shadow blossoms a rose’s lore,
Where man hath halt amidst modern bore.
How temptation quells the vicarious eye
‘til dusk cleanses thy clouded guise.
One’s gesture exposes thy tainted lie,
The petals fly through thy fated skies.

A serenade whispers towards thy rippled gaze,
“Desire awaits to swallow thee,” it phrased.
Traipsing towards the boundary of light
Where a petal dyad intrudes widowed doors.
Once avarice absorbs thy forsaken right,
Petals dive to seal thy sins forever more.

A destined petal scrapes through thy fragile gate,
How time’s pure radiance pierces its fate.
Thy clouded guise screeches for a holy creed,
“For Jade,” it cries through the phantom gloom.
Once confined in its corpse of greed
He now departs only for a rose to bloom.
