opinions for grapics cards comp.
What would be the better choice? I'm pretty conflicted atm and I just need some pointers.

I always go for Nvidia, but that's just me. I feel it's better supported anyways

Personally I would go with the 1060 unless the 290x is like $100 or something. The 290x is two generations old at this point and the 1060 beats the 290x's big brother (the 390x) on some games such as GTA 5, Battlefield 4, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and The Witcher 3.
If you already own the 290x, then I would just hold onto that for the moment until a possible rx 490 gets announced. My AMD graphics card has never gone over 55 degrees even under full load. Just thought I would throw that out there. While Nvidia cards do run cooler, the AMD cards definitely aren't space heaters anymore. Last edited by tosh; 08-22-2016 at 04:18 PM.. |

Yee, I have an AMD card currently and I haven't seen it past 50 yet, just my CPU/Motherboard lmao.
