iironiic
Note, for people who requested stuff that's more difficult to work with/takes longer to do/wants multiple items...I might skip you until I get enough time to devote to it, so please be patient and I'll be sure to make it worth waiting for. Last edited by darkshark; 03-18-2011 at 06:23 PM.. |

Re: Avatars
This is almost exactly what I was talking about when I PM'd you about my avatar. You can start doing mine anytime you want, I could care less if it's done tomorrow or in a week as long as it look as neat as all the other avatars you have done

Re: Avatars
This is incredible! Thank you so much! I sent you the credits already.
Hopefully one day, I'll try my hands on making these avatars as well. We'll see though :] Thanks again! |

Re: Avatars
Keep an eye out this weekend, I was going to make a really in-depth step by step tutorial on how to make an avatar like these. If you want to follow along, you'll need to download Adobe AfterEffects CS5, Photoshop CS5, and a plugin for AfterEffects called Particular (made by Red Giant).

Seems like a majority of you really like the particle systems, they keep getting requested haha. I don't have a problem making particle systems, I really like working with them, I just don't want all of the avatars to end up looking similar. Last edited by darkshark; 03-21-2011 at 12:01 AM.. |

Re: Avatars
smitty
This is the first one I struggled with in a creative sense. He wanted me to use his existing avatar and make some sort of energy swirls orbiting his body, and no matter what I tried I couldn't get it to look cool in any way, the picture itself isn't exactly something you would use for a shot like that in the first place, which is why I cad trouble with it. Went with this instead. Gilly G Signature Last edited by darkshark; 03-21-2011 at 01:14 PM.. |

xealix
This is the first one that I've used 3ds max on so far. The bullet bill and "xealix" are both in 3d, broken apart with a Physx impact reactor, then rendered and overlayed into AfterEffects. Last edited by darkshark; 03-21-2011 at 04:08 PM.. |

Re: Avatars
There's a queue line-up that I put in the first post. It's relatively in the order I'm making them, you're decently low on the list, and I'm churning these things out as fast as I can. I don't have a ton of time to devote to this stuff each day.
So I'd say around Wednesday or so if nothing comes up that postpones it. |
