I'm a tid bit sad N's Farewell didn't fair any better than other batches despite the work I'd put into it, but eh I can't say I'm displeased either it's been mentioned it's a vast improvement, so I'm gonna take that and smile.

But I do think if it turns out the acceptance rate might be lowered (Bmur said something about it in TB chat it might be possibly happening) I'll be fixing things before it hits the game that would be for sure. Missed notes are a no go I'll be trying my best to hunt them out.

Comments in spoiler.
N's Farewell (Xx{Midnight}xX) - [+.] 7/10
- Much better than the last time I judged this.
- Missing 16th at s49.15.
- The pitch relevancy is still a bit weak but you can decide what to do with this file.

Happy to hear it POR's something that still bothers me because I'm trying to make it as close to PR as I can figure it to be, but PR will [i]always[i] take a heavy backseat to flow. I'm not putting another Epilogue intro into the game. I hate that intro with a passion.

N's Farewell (7/10)
-still not a huge fan of the flam notes everywhere, but this will do.

Cool I guess a 7 / 10 from Kommi is like music to my learning ears.

N's Farewell (Xx{Midnight}xX)
Rating: 6/10 [+.]
- a few strings are missing once the piano accents come in really hard, near the end of the file
- some piano notes aren't represented in your chart (like 59.601, for example)
- there are a few slight PR issues, as well
- miles ahead of the DF chart, and in my opinion, still queue-worthy as an easier file that introduces more advanced concepts

There's a hefty chance that most of them are ignored completely on purpose. I'm trying to think of this from memory, but I think only the most intense part of the song is where I'm actually stepping the strings (as the piano part I tried to be really technical with.) But again, this might not be accurate as I'm doing this from memory, and it's honestly been a while since I looked hard at it.
Oh man I missed notes the more precise you can be the more likely I won't miss it a what is it, fourth time?
Much much MUCH better than the DF chart. May I take a bitch slap for sending in the original x.x'

N's Farewell (Xx{Midnight}xX) 6/10
felt some emphasis/layered hands (piano + strings, etc) are overdone to the intensity/difficulty of the song. good song choice and grace note placement (some might not be needed but ok).

No secret I'm a true lover of emphasizing notes, usually with colors (192nds in 90% of cases.) {That percentile is probably not completely accurate.}

Thanks judges :3

now that I'm home, I just want to say one thing about niala's review for robotomy

if you truly didn't enjoy the song, then why did you judge it? because it's pretty fucking obvious that you didn't judge the file on chart alone. I'm sorry, but your review is outrageously biased.

7 avg on my resub (The Strategy of Emperor), 7 avg on Nothing's Gonna Stop Me v2, and 6.75 avg on In The Clouds.

Not too bad, I'll take it.
Gonna try to step my game up next batch.

And boom, done fixing some of the errors for Jeh Jeh Slammin'.

I didn't do some of the fixes that you gave me, Bmah. As I was reading the notes and going through my file, it made me think I had to drastically change how some of the steps were laid out and I fear it would change the flow of the file by a lot, heheh.

- 91.712s you should make it easier to read which note is a jump and such, for example at 91.712s and 92.076s
- 115.348s holy crap, that is one hell of a sightread, Making this more streamlined wouldn't be a bad idea, just for this particular passage.
@ 91s: The white notes don't land at the same time as the drums and they are intentionally separated whenever possible simply because they aren't cohesive. If I wanted an effect to happen and it -did- land at the same time as something that wasn't normally accented, I would push both notes off 1/192nd of a note (see: 148.439/161.530/205.530/211.355/217.173/etc).

@ 115.348: I intended the second set to be a bit tougher and more rigid because it's clearance into the chorus, which slows the chart's difficulty down considerably (a nerve inducer, if you will).

Quote:
- 197.348s oh, lol :P
it makes sense, be fair

EDIT: I'll add the two seconds of silence and make two really minor fixes that I picked up.

Discord - [7,7,7,5] (6.5)
Bmah WRECKED my file hahaha. I would be mad but he gave a good review. Still, not even 6 Bmah? Hahaha

Reading for Days - [5,6,6,7] (6)
I was surprised this file was so close to my Discord one, I truly thought I did way better on it then this.

Overall, I'm satisfied with my results for 2nd time ever stepping.

EDIT: Bmah I will answer your questions/notes when I'm not on an iPhone in Mexico. ^^
