The Werewolf Game poll of the century!
Should we be allowed to play in more than one game at once? Being the small community we are (right now), playing in a jtwg and a twg shouldn't be a problem. The rule was implemented so not the same 5/8 people play in every single game, and gave others chances to play. At this current point in time, each game is almost a guarantee that your playing with at least 5 people from last game anyways.
Either way, my reasoning may be bullshittery, but that's what's not important. Should we be able to play in more than one game in general? How about just a jtwg and a twg? Let's hear your voice ffr twg community!

Re: The Werewolf Game poll of the century!
I guess my issue is personal - if I'm playing in two games and someone else is playing in two games and then we both talk about both games, it gets weird?
I think it's easier when you're limited to the thread, so maybe that's the rule. If the games don't have OOTT then I suppose you can? |

even if you talk to your red bro in a different game, you're likely doing it in the thread so it's easy to change your perspective or character before opening your mouth.
And since the hosts are moderating the wolf thread, he can make sure they don't OOTT about the other game. |

Re: The Werewolf Game poll of the century!
although I do think it's stupid if someone calls me out for being active in one game but not active in another - I wouldn't want to not have the option of being inactive on purpose. I wouldn't join two games just for this reason, but it would suck if we could use someone else's activity in one game to justify a lynch in another....

Re: The Werewolf Game poll of the century!
Like I'd want to avoid what Fiction is mentioning, but I also think that tbh the rule should be changed to:
"A player may join two games at once, if the hosts of the games allows it." This allows control of how often it's allowed. Most hosts will let the players who can handle it do so, and those who would fail can't. Or those who do join literally every game possible will be slowed down at least so others can fill the spots too. It's probably the only real way to change the rule and still keeps the site's desired control in place. Adds a bit of bias but unfair hosts can be dealt with by Manti. |

if oot or some equivalent of it is on, then you should be limited to just that game.
otherwise I think we're good. It is, at least for me, not hard to be active in more than one game at once. I am worried about allowing this though, because inactivity has been rather high lately, and if people sign up for more than one, and be inactive in both, that's just plain annoying, and I see it being realistic

Re: The Werewolf Game poll of the century!
how? if you choose to stay UTR in one game it's kinda stupid to be called out for it because you're active in another - it ruins the whole experience and literally makes the option to go UTR on purpose impossible if you choose to play in two games.

Re: The Werewolf Game poll of the century!
The only thing I can think against it would be people possibly confusing what role they have in each game or talk about the other game in the wrong one without meaning to. But really I could go either way on this.

Re: The Werewolf Game poll of the century!
no it's simply against the rules (on 2+2) to discuss ongoing games in other games in the same way it is discussing subs. don't like it? get modkilled

Re: The Werewolf Game poll of the century!
I think it should be allowed, but only under the host's discretion. For example, if signups for one are at the same time as when another game is about to end, then there isn't much of an issue.
I think the host should ask themselves/whoever the following questions if someone wants to join their game while already playing in another game(s): -Would the host(s) of the other games be ok with it? -Does this person have a recent track record of being reliable enough to be sufficiently active in both games? -Is there a high possibility of confusion akin to what psychoangel said? (Confusion on roles and who's who). -Are signups slow and is this person a new player? If not, perhaps giving others a chance to play would be better. |

Re: The Werewolf Game poll of the century!
To be completely honest, I wouldn't trust myself to be in two games at once.

Re: The Werewolf Game poll of the century!
i dont really care but like it could get confusing (i.e. if you're in 2 games you might mess up your roles lol). Gamewise I don't think it'll make a difference but if people can manage to deal with multiple roles it should be all gucci
