Am I the only one that noticed this?

So me and my friends went to go see Watchmen when it came out, 10/10 all of us agreed. The second time we went to go see it, we noticed this. I did the crappy photoshopping of Pedobear in MSPaint.

It's the part where Nite Owl II and Rorschach break into Ozy's office. This was the desktop.

I do recall them saying that for the film, they had dropped in clues of Veidt being homosexual ENTIRELY because of a single off-hand remark that Rorschach made.

Not all that surprising, and entirely not a big deal. Definitely not worthy of its own thread.

The term boy might mean "child" for you, but that is most assuredly not the implication here.

Talk to a heterosexual female or a homosexual male and ask them if they like boys. Or about this: ask a heterosexual male if they like girls. They're not going to instantly jump to pedophilia and neither should you.

And yes, it is sort of weird, but it is merely a simple easter egg they tucked in the film. Many films have these sorts of little hidden gags, and this film in particular has many. This is definitely not threadworthy, not only because you misunderstood the implication but also because this is just one of many little gags.

Yeah, I read an interview that mentioned this along with a bunch of other little easter eggs. There's a copy of the Watchmen comic in Dreiberg's basement.
