Re: Started building a retro game collection...
doubt its the rarest, but i know easily that it ranks up in the top 10, think top 5 actually, and i got them both for $90.lol. I made the stupid mistake of selling this before, but i needed the money bad. Last time i only had the disc, now i have the jewel case, manual, and the players guide with it. Now i have 2 of the rarest games on the ps1

Re: Started building a retro game collection...
Another get (some knew about this, but I'll post it anyway!)
How much do you think Mario Invisible/Dream Mary is worth? Some undergroud sites seem to say it's quite rare, but I can hardly find any info about it... And Einhander is the shit. And @wildfireskunk: I bought these at Microplay (subsidiary of SuperClub Videotron). Last edited by MarioNintendo; 08-29-2012 at 05:25 PM.. |

Re: Started building a retro game collection...
I had never played it before, but I am glad I took the risk and bought it. I love the real-time rendered polygon-ish graphics. So smooth framerate. Very early PS1, very cool.

Re: Started building a retro game collection...
Indeed, but that's how I like 'em - reckless.
Seriously, though, even with 10 continues I hardly made it to stage 3. But I had fun getting there, that's for sure! |

Re: Started building a retro game collection...
Hmm. Strange turn of events here!
So my girlfriend is as much of an avid gamer as I am, and she's grown up with SEGA consoles so has amassed a small collection of those which when we move in together will sit with my Nintendo stuff and it'll be all nice and shiny. Anyways, she got a call from a friend of hers this morning and he told her that he was moving house, and that he was getting rid of a part of his games collection and was going to bring it round and just give it to her! No charge or anything! So, he appeared a couple of hours ago with a box that was a fair size larger than we were expecting, and here are the pictures of a new part for our collection... Big pictures under the cut, and a lot of them! If anyone can see anything that is particularly cool and japanese, feel free to enlighten me as to what it may be in case I don't know. Gonna have to research a few of these things! But first I'm gonna play on our new Neo-Geo pocket :3 |

Re: Started building a retro game collection...
I am loving these collections :O I am definitely jealous of some of you.
Here are a couple pictures of my collection. I have more but I'd have to go digging through my attic to find them and I'm too lazy to do that. By the way sorry for the not so good quality pictures. Some of my N64 games. My N64 with Glover My two SNESs My SNES games Two Earthbound copies, Ness and Jeff figurines w/ boxes, Mother 3, Mother 3 encylopedia. I have a good bit more, some NES games, SEGA Genesis with a few games, Gamecube, and a couple of handhelds. |

Re: Started building a retro game collection...
Well of course it's pirated... But try to find the legit "micro-genius" version in the wild. It's not a common hack!
