Patriots remain undefeated
The New England Patriots continue on their way to having a perfect record through the regular and post season games. They clinched their victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars 31-20. Yours thoughts and oppinions on the game and the Patriots struggle to remain undefeated.

Re: Patriots remain undefeated
With seven seconds and the game being a two possesion advantage in their score, there's almost no way for the jags to come back.

Re: Patriots remain undefeated
Sal Palantonio, or whatever his name is, made a good analogy. Today, Brady was Josh Beckett, Curt Schilling, and Jonathan Papelbon, all in one night, and perfect. He would have been 28/28 if his receivers didn't drop those two balls o.O (although several of the other catches, such as the improv'd 53 yd gain out of a failed screen play, were amazing plays by the wide outs) It's amazing how efficient he was today. I'm looking forward to an Indy vs. Pats showdown between the best QBs next weekend.

Yea because the colts are gonna beat the chargers? I'm almost POSITIVE the Colts have LOST to the chargers 3/4 last games.

Re: Patriots remain undefeated
Well, if LT can destroy the Colts running defense, (and I haven't seen him get hot in a while) and Rivers can stay focused as a quarterback, they have a good shot at it. But I am definitely hoping that the Colts win. I think they'll have all the momentum at home inside that dome, especially if Manning gets the ball first.
yea i mean who wud honestly thnk the coltz are gunna beat the chrgers? rofl, the chargers are obviously gunna win. i mean look who's a better team and had a better record and is favored by most of the professional analysts and is at home and has the better former #1 pick QB. all the chargers. plus the 3/4 majority is astromically in favor so that proves it. Re: Patriots remain undefeated
I'll bet Jags fans were freaking out about the lack of defense. The Pats missed a field goal, and punted only once (running out the clock, too). Thankfully, the Pats defense started coming up with stops the second half. Imagine if Brady had been 18/28 instead of 26/28, though... it would have been a whole different game.

Re: Patriots remain undefeated
That's why Tom Brady is so good. He doesn't crumble under the pressure. He's fueled by it and always executes. It's hard to defend a guy who's so focused, not to mention the fact that he just finished engineering the greatest season in history by a guy at his position and as a team, too.

Re: Patriots remain undefeated
Tom Brady needs to get hit by a bus or something to make him human again. Then again, even if he did get hit by a bus, he'd probably get up and walk away. lol.

Re: Patriots remain undefeated
I honestly think Indy will upset them again
Think about it the first time they played them the Pats only won by what 3? and the Colts didnt have Marvin Harrison Although i know the game will be close im calling Indy for the upset (if not) It will be awesome to see a team in these times go undefeated Back in 72' and before the talent wasnt as evenly matched as todays teams

Tom Brady would hit the bus instead of the bus hitting him.

Re: Patriots remain undefeated
im thinking dallas beats giants, packers beat dallas, colts beat chargers,
My friend sent me this. I'm in almost total disagreement with this. As long as T.O. is doing horrbile that game from his injury the Cowboys have no chance of winning despite their overrated quarterback. T.O. would be fine for the packers game but since they lost then the Packers will beat the Giants. As for the disputed Colts game, they're my home team. I'm supposed to root for them. I just never do. This Chargers game is no exception. Go Chargers and Packers. PS: I'd like to see an undefeated team in my lifetime so the Patriots are a favorite of mine in the post-season.

Re: Patriots remain undefeated
I just have a feeling that the Patriots will lose in the Super Bowl. Big upset (for the Patriot fans). That is my prediction.

Re: Patriots remain undefeated
You guys say the crazy play fake near the endzone, right? I don't think many people realize how genius that is, because the Pats run this trick play where the ball is directly snapped to the running back, and Brady fakes fumbling the ball, and turns around. The play today was a fake of the fake play...
