Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 8
Not trying to start drama but honestly is mi40 that good? (I've seen his video of him playing rave 7 and see that he has a lot of skill) BUT......the thing that blows my mind more than anything in this game is the amount of sightread AAA's he has on hard files (75+ difficulty songs) including this final round song which is a 96??? If you look at his levelranks nearly every AAA is a sightread. Again maybe he is that good, I don't have the ability to look at replays and such, I guess what really has me in awe is that even Dossar and Samurai slip up once in awhile and accidentally hit a good in a hard song yet he is able to play nearly any song and sightread AAA it. Oh and his one and only play on 3020 coincidentally unlocks metro which seems like it may take at least a couple tries to do. Again I know he's good....but is he really that good? just seems really odd to me.

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 8
They aren't sightreads, actually. He restarts, then quits out to prevent accumulating playcounts, hence why his levelranks are incredibly clean. He whored HI for about 3 hours on Skype. He did get some video footage along the way, too (with most of it being missflags lol). The velocity replay might seem fishy as he primarily uses R^3, but he had much more ease hitting dense areas within HI on an older engine opposed to the usual 60fps nature.
We'll just have to wait and see results at the end of the week, I guess. On a side note, I'm surprised he didn't develop serious mind blocks by restarting like that lmfao (I did this on RATO and oh my gooooooooood I can't remap my muscle memory at all)

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 8
Have you tried low rates + isolation? It's magic. It's what helped me demolish that putrid trill/anchor pattern in Rave 7 and learning the jump jacks in Revo.

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 8
I did that for Epidermis v2, but got sick of the file after 100 plays lmfao
I did lower-rate other files, but haven't isolated them in increments of 50 yet - I'll get around to it eventually and finally snag a few more FSO AAAs
