If there was a portable FFR console...
How much would you pay for a portable FFR console? Assuming it had arrow keys as well as askl, could play FFR, automatically updated with additions of new songs and features, and could record your scores? Of course this is all theoretical.
I'd pay up to $200-250 for one. What about you?

Re: If there was a portable FFR console...
I'm talking something more the size of a Nintendo DS, maybe slightly bigger so as not to crowd the keys (and therefore your fingers). Also probably a longer battery life due to the fact it'd probably be flash memory rather than traditional computer hard drives. Bottom line: way less bulky, good for road trips or anywhere it'd be inconvenient to have a laptop, or desktop for that matter.

With only 4 keys? Then you're restricted to One hand and index unless you're able to pull off spread.

I wouldn't, I can wait to play FFR (and for event simfiles to come out) unlike some people.

Re: If there was a portable FFR console...
I'm thinking the layout would be all style friendly. (Except <\/26 and similar)

I might draw something up in GIMP to show you what I mean. Dang, Paint would be useful right about now.

Almost unbelievably rough, but I hope it gets the point across.

Re: If there was a portable FFR console...
To select your style, hold down the four keys you will be using. Only three styles are available in this model. Spread, Wide Spread, Classic.

Re: If there was a portable FFR console...
Theres many different keys used for them. But zageron hit it on the spot, haha we aren't talking about a console, what if they made their own little Keyboard with just those plugged into a USB port.
For example, it would be able to hit hands, where in my keyboard doesn't register more than 2 keys at a time, you could hold all down and etc. And so no-one would cheat, as he said hit the keys your going to use, and the others are disabled, so multiple people cannot help you with jack songs, or etc. But then again, that's a weird situation, cause wouldn't your keyboard be in place... idk don't mind this post unless it makes some sense xD |

Re: If there was a portable FFR console...
I don't really see the point in this.
Why would you want one? To play FFR "on the go"? Most places you go have a computer near by. |

Re: If there was a portable FFR console...
But yeah like I said earlier, I just don't see the point in a portable version of FFR. It would be better if they made it so you can play it on the iTouch or something.
