Problem With FFR
I posted this in the FAQ 2 days ago but no one responded to it so I'm going to make this thread. I can't play FFR on IE Firefox or Chrome. I played it on the standalone player for a day but the next it wouldn't work no matter what I tried. Does anyone have an idea on what I could do to fix the problem?

Re: Problem With FFR
What exactly is your problem, how won't it work?
Does the flash not load? Do the keys not register? Do songs not load? Giving better specifications as to what your exact problem are will gather quicker responses that can be very helpful rather than this response asking what the problem is >_> Was your problem not addressed at all in the FAQ? If not, report your problem so that we can make note of it and fix it!

Re: Problem With FFR
Sorry for not explaining it better, I probably should have done so. But, on the browsers all that I get is a blank screen with the multiplayer and news buttons at the bottom. In the standalone player it loads everything but then stalls after it is done loading. It goes all the way to 964 or whatever the number is but does not go past that. If you need more info please ask, I want to play FFR again.

Do you have the latest versions of flash and everything that's needed to run the game? Check some other sites that use the same programs to run FFR, and see if they work.

Yes, I just updated to the newest version a few days ago. I am stumped on what I can do.

I did respond in the FAQ thread I asked more specifics on what was going on. But if it's not loading for you anywhere not even on the browser I really have no idea what that could be. |

Re: Problem With FFR
Delete Flash player 10 and try downloading Flash player 8 or 9 again. It worked for me.

Re: Problem With FFR
Sorry for taking so long, but I downloaded flash 9 and installed it but It still would not work. I play on the beta in the standalone player but only half of the songs ever load. Any other ideas or do I have to wait for FFR to be updated to work with flash player 10?
Edit** Velocity's engine works on the standalone player but never records my scores or has any sound. Can I get an official link to the player to verify that I do have the right link? Last edited by I like it; 11-26-2010 at 11:34 PM.. |

I'm slowly fixing the standalone issue. Standalones don't like relative URL's |

Re: Problem With FFR
Thank you for the link. I can play with it on the standalone and it does record my scores now. Except every now and then I will run into a song that just gets stuck at 99%, it's not much of a big deal right now though. Thanks for all your hard work Velocity and the FFR team.
