I'll take a look at the two files and determine whether or not the conditional queues are necessary. A conditional queue should not cause the file to be drastically changed as a whole and it's likely that they might be a bit overarching.

Just my personal opinion, but I think it really IS a bad thing when the stepping is underwhelming on complex and energetic/fast songs. I'd prefer seeing slower, simpler songs be in the low 10's than a cool, fast, complex song be forced onto lower 10's by an "easy file".

When I was a newer player, easy songs paired with slower songs were boring for me to play. A variety of all songs stepped as easy files is nice.

By that logic beginners to the game would only ever get to play slow piano pieces and elevator music

Typically this makes sense, but most files could be stepped in a wide range of difficulties according to the stepper's discretion (not unlike multiple difficulties on DDR). This is beneficial to novice steppers who probably would like to hear a wider variety of music instead of slow ballads and whatnot until they progress in skill. Leaving only slow/simple-structured music to lower difficulties is one way of boring new prospective players.

batch is open, yeah

if you have a batch search engine account (you would have received a PM from dossar with details) you can add the song entries yourself on there too, into the batch called "September 2016"

Please head on over to the new Rules/Submission Guidelines thread. This thread encompasses the guidelines for submitting files as well as the two judgment systems.
