The Replicator [66 or 68]
Well, there's only one AAA in D4 division atm. The whole file is fairly solid and need more consistency than your usual VC. It definitely felt like it belongs to 66~68 range. Which one exactly? That's up to discussion. Sorry if there was already changes planned for this file.

Sorry for late approval lol
Plays like a 66 to me personally, no higher. I'm guessing lots of peeps will weigh in on this thread, so let's see what you guys think. Remember to justify your reasoning (compare patterns/speed to other songs in those subgroups etc.) Song hasn't been out long enough to compare statistics. |

Re: The Replicator [66 or 68]
If my memory of the new system is correct 66 is supposed to be for the lowest "fmos" yes?
This chart's difficulty compared to other 66's such as Choprite is far higher than what that chart demands due to the patterns. If the patterns were more friendly yeah a 66 would be appropriate at this speed but since those patterns are a lot harder than they look if you're not careful you're gonna dump a lot more goods as compared to patterns found in Choprite, 0 piano version ect. 67 is a more suitable difficulty after all's said is done. Yes it's hard but not quite hard enough to be on par with the 68. |

Re: The Replicator [66 or 68]
These patterns are way to difficult not to be FMO level, especially the spot right around the 370 combo mark. I'd say 67 or 68.

The patterns in this file (the jacks/trills) really annoy me. I'm going to say high 67.

Re: The Replicator [66 or 68]
Considering the pattern choice(s) in general I'd also vouch for a bump to 67.

Re: The Replicator [66 or 68]
I find the jack transitions, especially the 1111(234) part, really hard to not dump extra taps, a phenomenon that's also apparent in a lot of my Guru/high Master runs. Points for technicality in that regard.
There aren't any weird lol-time-change 16ths like there are with, say, Kyrie or Since 1983, but the 12ths do give to the occasional 24ths that are a bitch and a half to nail. Now, I like to think that I'm fairly consistent, but that consistency gets defenestrated when the taps are on the same note and layer in other arrows--I can barely get teens on Flamingo. (Look it up, you'll be one word smarter, as my grandfather used to say.) Add this to the fact that the song doesn't really give you a break once it picks up and the similar layered jumps, and it's quite comparable to Vs Boss Battle in terms of length, intensity and technicality. Going with 68.

Re: The Replicator [66 or 68]
Transitions in this file are downright nasty in a few spots, including the nasty burst into four-note up arrow anchor jump jack stuff at 350. The patterns aren't very intuitive into and out of the bursts, and there's quite a few tricky sections featuring mini-jacks into jumps making for all sorts of boo-traps.
I'm going to say 68 for this. |

Re: The Replicator [66 or 68]
I found Flamingo far harder than Replicator lol
I'd say this is a 67. Definitely harder than the lowest FMOs, Choprite and Hajnal and Rpttel and so on. But it's not really a 68. The 24th bursts just arent numerous enough.

Re: The Replicator [66 or 68]
It's honestly not. Flamingo is hard if you can't do dense sections (Which is entirely what flamingo is is dense nonsense) The Replicator tests speed and reading along with fine hand control. You're not gonna do well on this chart if you're lacking in speed and control.

Re: The Replicator [66 or 68]
Hmm, guess I'm undervaluing how much that 350c spike section contributes to the overall difficulty of the file. The continuous 12th jackjumpstream minus the 24th bursts plays like a 65 imo, but some of those bursts are pretty gross and definitely should shift the rating up a few notches.
Leaning towards 68 now. If others think 67 is more appropriate, make your arguments etc. Otherwise switching to 68. |

Re: The Replicator [66 or 68]
I vote 68 because of the section at the 350 combo mark, along with the transitions in and out of the trills.
