Re: How did you acquire your username?
I was playing Guitar Hero, and I was doing the tutorial for the achievement on my 360.
The guy talking was 'God' and he sounded uber awesome. He was talking and said "Tune your guitar...'' then you have to hit all the buttons, and it magically tunes (wtf). Then he said, "Now you can play with perfect Harmony." Or something like that. It sounded cool so I came on here and made it. Then the rabbit went across the road to a strip club. The End. |

Re: How did you acquire your username?
"MI4 REAL" was a random Turok 2 (N64) multiplayer username I chose as my name. Since the game had an 8 character limit, I couldn't put "AM I FOR REAL" as the name, so I had to shorten it. "MI4 REAL" was the result. I have used this name everywhere I go on the internet in the past 8 years.
There are some variations i use. It could be MI4 REAL, MI4_REAL, MI4REAL, MI4_REAL_(yyyy) or MI4REAL2k(y) depending on the website and whether it allows spaces, dashes, underscores, etc. I don't use my MI4 REAL handle on the browser game Area00, and AdventureQuest (I use my real name and last initial there)

Re: How did you acquire your username?
2/3 of my first name + man + random numbers
I orginally had travman44 on neopets when I was 11. That account got hacked and I've stuck with my new name ever since. Also, I'm pretty sure this thread had been done before. |

Re: How did you acquire your username?
Okay, my name is very.. oddly formulated. When I was younger, I had this obsession with the number 7. I knew all my multiplication tables, but anything divisible by 7, I had memorized best. U happens to be the 21st letter in the alphabet, so 7 times 3 is 21. 84 is 12 times 7. Simple.

Excluding the "x," the first four letters are the first four of one of my favorite Anime characters: Haruhi Suzumiya and the last four is the first four my own name: Monica.

Ask Midday.
Moreover, questioning the list of reasons and names that come up can be considered postwhoring, much like the reasons posting more than once per page in the rating threads are considered postwhoring.

Re: How did you acquire your username?
Yes this thread has been done before. My real name is Megan but my cousin calls me Megmo and that was the first thing that came to mind when I wanted to hurry up and register already.

Re: How did you acquire your username?
In 7th grade, one of my friends was correcting my paper in English class, and he randomly changed my last name to Ledwick. Then some people started to call me that, which was surprising. When I made an account on Runescape, I entered Ledwick, but that was already taken, so I put Ledwix, and it worked. Then I used that username on other sites, too, obviously.

Re: How did you acquire your username?
Umm...I like techno and rock. Yep. I later found out that there is a song called Technorocker. People always think I got my name from that song. Not true >.<.

Re: How did you acquire your username?
I thought rhythm games were for ******s and my cousin made me make an account so I typed in some random crap thinking I would never come on here again. I ended up coming back...a lot...and I even make another account (Blade Symphony) or something but I forget the exact spelling of it.

Re: How did you acquire your username?
I used to have a different universal username on all websites and forums across the internet. When I realized it sounded childish, I asked all 100 people on my Xbox Live friends list for a recommendation of a new name. My friend told me x AFTeR DaWN x, but there wasn't enough room for it, so I put x AFTeRDaWN x. I later started creating my new accounts across the internet, and I realized the lack of space bugged me, so I added a space. And here I am today. x After Dawn x.
