Question Does working out improve jacks and trills?

So I've started to go to a gym lately (mostly because I got a free guest pass) and I'm not if I'm hallucinating but I think I can trill/jack better. For the first time today I nailed the intro to Shotgun Surgery , which I thought would happen when sometime around never.

What do you guys think?

No, working out doesn't really improve jacks and trills as far as I know. One hand trilling speed is mainly comes from how fluent your hands are when you're playing, if you nail a couple of one hand trill parts it's probably because your hands weren't as tense as you were playing from before.

Maybe the adrenaline rush helped you out in trilling speed, but chances are your adrenaline is probably long gone when you come back lol.

I would say that it CAN help with that extra push in force but other then that, it's mainly about how well you can control your fingers. Repetition is key and lots of practice conserving energy (gaining stamina).

Perhaps but indirectly. I would guess going to the gym, if you work out intensely enough, you'll train yourself to push yourself beyond your limits. Like they say, you're aren't working out if you don't feel the burn.

Yes for sure on everything except for one-handed trilling. I don't think there are any workouts that will help you get faster/stronger in that skill.

Also I'm pretty sure vibrating is a different skillset than normal two-handed trilling & jacking which can be improved by working out the brachialis. (not that this is too applicable to playing FFR)

I think being able to hit the keys lightly WHILE CONTROLLED is where the skill builds over time

I don't think working out has anything to do with it haha
i AAAd AIM anthem by just barely tapping down on the keys

I suggest playing ffr with 50 pound dumbbells. When you play without the weights you will be much faster. It's like DBZ when they take off their weighted clothes. Basically science, godspeed!

if you work out the right muscles in your arms then it can.

obviously working out your legs or abs wont do anything for you compared to working out your arms forearms and fingers

No joke...I've actually considered making heavy rings for my fingers and seeing the difference it would make. (doubt i would do it tho)

The improvement was probably indirect as reuben said. I would guess because working out/exercising or being in a healthy condition in general allows the body to perform at a higher level.

Exercises for getting better? Trilling is really tough and that's been mentioned (those finger weights maybe??). The jacking part and stamina come from playing brutal stuff for a long time. Now that FFR has rates you should try playing stupid stuff like RATO 1.3 or something. Feel dat burn

Practice jacks and trills with weighted gloves on max weight and weighted wrist bands.
Before trying to get your score take 10 scoops of preworkout mixed with 5 hr energy drink and flush it down with monster.

I demand video of this.
