Definitely don't just push yourself every session, because you will do permanent damage sooner or later. With that being said, I've actually gone to the doctors for pains in my hands before, and was told that the sheaths for my tendons didn't have enough lubrication and that i would do permanent damage if i continued the way i did. Of course i slowed right down and lost a lot of skill, but after a lot of time, i'm now further ahead than i was then. |

Re: Soul's Aspiring D7 SM score progression thread~
assuming you do push yourself rather consistently (although to a relatively reasonable extent as well), you should be perfectly fine with occasional 2-day breaks for the most part
if you really end up overstraining yourself a lot make that a week and you're good to go; in a worst-case scenario in which that would not suffice make that 2 weeks to a month - either way it actually wouldn't end up disrupting your overall skill level by a very noticeable amount if at all also note that as previously stated, not every single session that you have necessarily has to be predominantly comprised of balls-to-the-wall gameplay: light to medium sessions are perfectly fine and perhaps even to be strongly encouraged, as they grant you an opportunity to brush up on the control and accuracy that are to supplement your higher-level gameplay anyway - thereby granting the latter considerably more value upon adopting this approach You are not being asked to give up playing the game in a performance-oriented manner - you are simply being asked to reasonably understand the conditions under which your body will allow you to produce the better scores that you have been striving for in the first place. Re: Soul's Aspiring D7 SM score progression thread~
My internet isn't top notch to be downloading or looking up each solo pack in that thread tho, and i'm not even sure what's classified as ''hard'' in the packs as i may be one of the best solo players for this site (maybe) so i specifically want somewhat hard maps maybe by mina's scale for difficulty 23-27? so long it's 15+ more in average NPS

I am back and alive with new scores, and new improvement!
This was really hard to AA for me like a week ago This was unexpected Pretty much speed oriented OH MY GOD YES This is great went from a 93% last two weeks to this Absolutely mad My arm was hurting after this session but as soon as i recover tomorrow, i'll try makiba speed of link (oni) and Forbidden and see if i can AA any of them. Re: Soul's Aspiring D7 SM score progression thread~
screenshots all of a sudden transition into screenshotting the song selection screen and not results screen ever.
imo he's not important so we ignore it and let him post any bullshit scores he wants, since no-one here is going to care really. (nice diabolikha AA hue)

Re: Soul's Aspiring D7 SM score progression thread~
Also for anyone who's noticing, i play almost everyday, it's been a while since i posted scores last two weeks but i got a skillboost and that's why i have these scores @ninja you realize my jumpstream ability isn't godly since i lack alot of stamina for the most part, and i pretty much lack consistency for it since i've been playing alot of dump charts now.

Re: Soul's Aspiring D7 SM score progression thread~
I replayed lovely bomb when i was at the prime of my play when i skill boosted, i don't know how lovely bomb is that hard of a file since i kinda could do the mini jacks fairly well, and i kept restarting it until i got an AA on it.

Re: Soul's Aspiring D7 SM score progression thread~
I seriously don't have anything to say other than ''i got good'' it's the fact that my skillset, i had problems with jack files but i never found mini jacks or jump gluts to be that hard to be honest, if you require further proof of my legitimacy, then i will provide it.
