What is ZPE?
ZPE is the acronym for Zero Point Energy. I'm wondering, what exactly is this concept about, and what would one need to know to figure it out? I heard about it from someone, but I do not know if I really understand what it is and what it's about.

Re: What is ZPE?
Zero point energy typically refers to the energy that is always present in a vacuum, as dictated by quantum theory's 'sea of virtual particles'.
Google the Casimir Effect.

Re: What is ZPE?
It doesn't exist. There's no such thing as free energy.

Re: What is ZPE?
Zero point energy does exist, but it's not an obvious free source of energy because it's the baseline that exists everywhere.
