Default Question about Mina's theme

Hey guys so I LOVE this theme because it's simple, efficient and, most importantly, allows me to change the receptor size, which I think SHOULD BE AN OPTION IN STEPMANIA5.

Anyways, my question is regarding cdtitles, or the lack there of in the theme. Any way of getting cd titles showing on this theme?

If not, and if Mina is looking, any chance we can get this feature????

Finally, how to I add the avatar? I has that option. And I can't get DivideByZero to show on my noteskins.

seems like minas theme doesnt show cdtitlle on the 1 to 5 key pages :<, it does have avatars though, go to your theme folder and Transcendence\Graphics\Player avatar\ and add as many avatars you want, then on the select music screen double press / to select an avatar :3

Thank you, Jous!

On a side note, is there any plans to include receptor size option in future SM5 releases?

Also, I figured out the problem with DivideByZero (and any other noteskins, for that matter). I have adding them on the AppData/Roaming folder instead of the Games/StepMania5 folder. We're good on that one now.

Yes! This was already added into a personal edit of the build I'd been using but never released. It's also in the next evolution of the theme which is nearing a non-alpha release stage and is much much much better in every aspect. So keep an eye out for that. Transcendence might look nice and generally feel nice but there are a ton of underlying issues that are results of my inexperience in themeing and with lua in the past.

This feature is already available in the 5.1 builds of StepMania, with the NewField. It's called Zoom, and it basically acts the same way as mini but instead of 10%, 20%, 30% etc, it's 0.95, 0.9, 0.85 etc.

just pick up a fresh install of sm5.1 alpha 3 from here and when you go into player options (double tap enter on song select), there should be a zoom option. there should be a +0.1 and -0.1 there and you can adjust the zoom like so - if you want to refine the zoom further you can adjust the scale so it becomes +0.01, -0.01 etc. conversions between mini and zoom are something like this:

0% mini is 1.0
10% mini is 0.95
20% mini is 0.9
30% mini is 0.85
40% mini is 0.8 etc.

the formula is 1-(m/200) [i think] where m is your previous mini size. actually, now that i think about it, considering mina's theme uses receptor size you can just ignore everything i said and convert the receptor size to a decimal lmao.

keep experimenting with the zoom until you find one that is comfortable
