Zelda Wind Waker HD and New Zelda For Wii U

That's right. The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker is getting an HD remake for Wii U! It's going to have remastered graphics and gamepad functionality. The trailer has some comparison shots from the Gamecube and Wii U versions. It's supposedly going to be released sometime this year in the fall. There is also info on the new Zelda Wii U game which they claim is a "back-to-basics" title. This is overused but since this is Zelda, I'll change it up: SHUT UP AND TAKE MY RUPEES!!

Ohhhh boy this is the best news I've heard in gaming for a while. Take ALL the money, Nintendo.

Best part is, there's more than just this that's coming. There's Mario Kart for wii u, a new monolith game, a new Zelda game, a new 3D Mario game, Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem, a new Yoshi game, and another Nintendo Direct will announce more for 3rd party games later. Oh, I almost forgot about the new Super Smash Bros game that will be shown at e3 this year.

THIS TOO. I saw a trailer for a Majora's Mask remake for Wii U but it turned out to be fake... it was a real shame because it looked incredible.

In terms of a new official F-Zero game, I don't know if there is going to be one. Miyamoto didn't want to make another one, but there is still hope for that series.

Back on the topic of Legend of Zelda, that Windwaker looks awesome and I plan on buying it once it comes out.

Until I hear of some good third-party support, I've got no plans to buy a Wii U. I'll focus on the PS4 and its release. Yes, I'll miss out on some of my favorite Nintendo franchises, but I'm not going to buy a console just for 7 or 8 good games that will be on it. I have Wind Waker on the Gamecube and that's good enough for me.

It is incredibly stupid that they didn't make a new Pokemon Snap for the Wii. Would have been perfect.

With trailers as such, The Zelda WW and new title and bayonetta 2 I think I'll even get a Wii U in the near future, wow.
I told myself I'm done with console gaming and I don't have time for it anymore but this just seems too appealing to miss to me.

They need to do a proper remake for Majora's Mask, not a simple update the models a bit remake for 3ds.

However, OoT wasn't really a simple update of the graphics. There was a significant difference. The only thing is that they really kept to the art style, while with Wind Maker things look vastly different and even the art style was altered.

So the 3DS can do a Majora's Mask remake just fine in my opinion.
