Well, if when you -quit- you said to your boss "I'm only quitting because my parents made me, because I was oversleeping and being late for school" and now went to your boss and were like "But now we've got a whole plan worked out, so I can work, and still get to school on time, and it's all good, I promise" then you might have a chance.

but if you were just like "Dag, you, I'm outta here" and quit with no explanation or notice, then no, you're screwed.

I got my job back like this as well. I asked for halloween weekend off last year a month in advance, then they changed their mind at the last minutem so I was like fack you I'm not coming in anyway, and ended up going to Oregon for close to a month, never called in even saying I quit.

8 Months later I'm like.....Kay....can I pleaseeeeee have my job back? I won't do it again. Hired. Good luck Guru!

As long as you are polite about it all, you have as good a shot as any. Like others have said though, it depends on how you quit last time.

In darkshark's case, he had SOME degree of leverage because he made plans well in advance and his employers decided to say EFF YOU MANG COME IN ANYWAYZ at the last moment, so he did have that going for him even if quitting on the spot is deemed inconsiderate.

If you left your prior job without even giving a two week's notice ("I GOTTA MAKE FIRST PERIOD MANG I'M SORRY BYE"), they are probably not going to say yes unless you're basically blowing them while begging. Either way, though, good luck!
