Gamemon "Universal USB Convertor" mapping issues
I recently bought this 10 dollar device from Walmart and was giddy thinking my BMUS control would go perfectly with it. Install, Plug In, Configure. Open up Be-Pachi and try it out. It works fine, all but 2 (3) keys. The turntable and the far-right white key are being mapped on an axis or something. All other keys on the controller register as a 'button'
Img: The input of TT up, TT down, and button 7, respectively. My first idea was: Oh well, I'll try to reconfigure the mappings in the game. Fail. BP and LR did not recognize any input from the TT or b7. Second idea: I'll search some forums and the interwebz for a solution. Fail. Many people appear to be having extensive problems with this device, but none that I have found are similar cases. Third idea: I'll try to find some kind of key re-mapper or whatever. Partial-fail. The first few programs I tried didn't recognize the actions just like the simulators. I eventually found a trial program (Pinnacle Game Profiler) that remedied my problems.... for the first 30 days. Also very intensive to create a profile for every game/new mapping. Fourth idea: Ask FFR. Any ideaz? *Reminds me of axis/pad woes* P.S. "Convertor" is how it is spelled on the device, in the program, on the website, etc. Edit: AMD Athlon 64 X2 1.70 GHz 1GB RAM Vista Premium Edit 2: Just found out that the "View Switch" is controlled by the D-pad on a Dualshock 2 control.
