Re: Program that sorts your levelrank from best to worst
If you mean executable as in standalone native code without the JavaVM you have to use something like http://www.excelsiorjet.com/, something I wouldn't recommend for most projects. Standard Java works with bytecode which by nature requires installing Java beforehand to run anything.
I don't really have much experience with java projects outside Android, but a quick search on stackoverflow for something like "how to release java applications" or "how to make an executable java program" can surely help. |

You don't. The closest thing I could think of is a .JAR file.
I would have to reprogram it in a different language.

Re: Program that sorts your levelrank from best to worst
I made the program in Python and converted it to an executable. It may not work (.dlls may be missing) but I thought this might be useful.
All you need to do is save your level ranks (from the number under rank, to the right-most number at the bottom) in a text file and save it as rank.txt on your desktop. I include two screenshots in a readme file. http://www.mediafire.com/download/z6...k_Analyzer.zip In no way am I trying to offend OP by this. I thought it would be a fun task to put some of my basic python abilities to use. Edit: It's also only the top 10 and it brings up a cmd window. If anyone wants changes and OP can't get his version into an executable, I'll make an update. Last edited by Oni-Paranoia; 08-20-2014 at 12:59 AM.. |

Re: Program that sorts your levelrank from best to worst
no worries oni, not offended
I was going to try to convert to Python myself (I've used Python just as much if not more than Java) but it seems you beat me to it :P also whoa, 3.1mb file warning, what the heck is in there :P The formula is different than mine though, it lists my Survive 19-3-0-3 as better than my Starlight AAA. Did you use like 5th power or something else entirely? And the output is the old "name AAAeq", not the "name (difficulty) AAAeq [PA]" in my updated post. I'll add yours to the OP though, it's a cool alternative for non-JDK'ers

I also only made this based on your main post description. So I forgot you already had some feedback. I already set it up though to get any needed numbers. So it literally would take me 15 minutes at most to fix the script to your current one (if anyone deemed it needed). To be honest, we should brainstorm a more solid formula for song by song comparison. |

Re: Program that sorts your levelrank from best to worst
Guest, could you possibly upload this to a site that does not use 30 pages of Javascript?
Okay, so I was being snarky. But seriously, Mega does not work for me. And even if it did, it does not sit well with me that a download site wants to use so much Javascript when realistically it does not need any. Thanks~
