Still seems like a good deal for 1 dollar. You could do it just for the convenient downloads and then patch them to work outside origin / steam.

I haven't had a personal computer or access to any computer that could play games for years now. Hasn't stopped me from grabbing 99% of all of the recent Humble Bundles just for the keys in the hope that I will someday have a computer capable of enjoying the games. Whatever your opinion of Origin is, it's still a pretty good price for some decently rated games.
