Employers frequently use this test for interviews. A friend of mine had to take it for a dental school interview. The NEO-PI-R is the most accurate (free) personality test you will find on the internet. Because it's accurate, it's not short: this will take about 30 minutes.

Yes, I can confirm this test is often used in interviews for professional schools/companies and is largely considered to be the most accurate personality test used in psychology right now.

I'm well aware of the fact that the INTJ/MBTI seems to be much more popular in internet circles, but it's important to note that most psychologists don't take this test seriously at all (It has a plethora of problems...)

edit: I appear to be slightly more extroverted and more neurotic than last test. Otherwise, the same.

Well, to be fair, they're more friendly and gregarious than I am, but I scored higher overall.

It's only a zero because of statistical trickery (since these scores are measured in percentile and not points).

The Big 5 is definitely the best model we have floating around in personality psychology right now. It's a lot more consistent and a lot more predictive and accurate than the MBTI models, which are thankfully being used less and less, but somehow remain more popular. I'm not sure why. The Big 5 shows significant cross cultural validity world wide, is remarkably predictive in nature and shows strong reliability.



Rubix, I expected you would be less extroverted than you apparently are. Everything else I would have predicted, though.
