Hi blur.
I checked to see if the judge and life were in fact 4 after I did this.. of course, they were.
The boos are happening before and after the jacks.. usually I don't even have full life before the jacks. This time I did. When I got to the jacks, I wasn't even looking at the screen. All I did was put my middle fingers close to my index and jacked all 4 keys really fast and hard. This took quite a few times. I would go into the jacks with only half a life bar... or I'd start missing the keys from trying to jackhammer so hard. I looked at the miss count and went "wow"... I'll have to try this on a different version of Stepmania too. This is 13b. Oh, and for all those that get a ton of misses on the jacks or can't pass it (arch).. it HAS to be your keyboards. |

hmmm.... I'm not sure about the keyboard thing....but at the same time I kinda agree.
Here's a scenario...(which happened a while back) me and my friend are both decent at SM, but when it comes to cynic, he can't pass the jackhammers, but do decently well on everything else. Now, I can easily pass Cynic all the time on my keyboard, but I tried it at my friends house.... and somehow failed at the jackhammers.... which is very odd because usually I'm VERY good at them. So I concluded that my friend's keyboard is a pile of crap. Anyways, he can't pass cynic at my house either.... but that's probably because he just mashes 90% of the time. so actually... the keyboard is probably the problem, because I find that I do better on some keyboards than others. Then again.... it also could just mean that you can either do jacks.... or you just can't.

I can do jacks pretty well, but my keyboard registers shit, even though it is huge and it has a lot of buttons. No Blur for me.
Good job bandit, go for the AAAA.

Just mash really fast (I can do it.. not hard) on the double jacks, and being able to do jackhammers pretty decently helps at the jackhammers. It's easy to pass, maybe I'll post my score..

So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright. And I write the blog for their website. Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O |
