Signed up just now, thanks a bunch. Really needed a new timesink now that wow is shit, and LoL just doesn't fit the bill well enough, planned on using this when it came out

I will be interested to observe how the endgame content pans out in this MMO.
ofc I will also have fun analyzing their PvE encounter design and watching some cool boss kill videos.

Not playing though.

I've been more or less following development (on and off though) since development, not as much recently till beta was announced.

Game looks fantastic and I'd love to play. I'd prefer if they released it over the summer though so my grades don't get ****ed up xd

Anyone here play GW1? I rolled a W/Mo main back in the day on Prophecies (didn't buy any expansions LoL) and basically stopped the campaign like 2 missions away xd
After that I tried to grind underworld, do some pubs PvP, and attempt 100% map exploration before I quit

I'd like to revisit GW1 sometime but... god damn, load times would piss me off so much. I remember reinstalling once after I quit for a while and I literally waited like 2 hours for files to load for JUST LION'S ARCH. Uninstalled immediately...
Since the world is non-instanced in GW2 I really think it'll be many steps above GW1 in terms of world interaction.

Not a big fan of PvP but I'm interested in seeing how GW2 plans on breaking away from the "holy trinity of PvE."

I am excited for this game, but I'm going to hold off playing until I'm through with school stuff

Didn't preorder cause I think beta is too tempting xd

Well I'll just be doing GW1 stuff in the meantime anyway, I do want to try to get 30/50 although idk how long it'll take with only Prophecies classes and EotN Heroes

I don't think it's going to come out that late. A lot of people are speculating a late June/early July release, though I don't know how probable that is. My guess is that the latest it'll be released is somewhere around September.

Anyways, if anyone wants to add me in the beta/game when it comes out, just give me a shout on my wall. Can't wait for next weekend.

If it comes out around late june/early july, that's right around my b-day so I could pre order D3 now and get GW2 on release :'D

Just in case anyone didn't know, BWE 1 started. I haven't had this much fun playing an MMO in a while. It's still a bit buggy, but it's still pretty amazing.
