Must-do things in Toronto?
I'm visiting a friend in Toronto this weekend and am looking for interesting things to do/places to visit/places to eat. Things I wouldn't normally be able to do outside of Toronto preferably.
My friend is not a local. He's a university student living on res so he doesn't really know all the best places as far as I know. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks guys. |

Go downtown. Visit the old lady with the black leather coat and the hunchback.
Go to smoke's poutinerie.

Re: Must-do things in Toronto?
Go to Mississauga and play in the Playdium arcade.
...except the only working and decent rhythm game they have there now is Pump it Up Pro

Go to the Ripley's Aquarium, it's actually really spectacular.
Really it depends what you guys like. The Science Center, Royal Ontario Museum, and Art Gallery of Ontario are all really cool if you like the kind of stuff they are about. Queen St, West of Yonge is all neat shops, ditto just Yonge St pretty much anywhere along it. |

Re: Must-do things in Toronto?
Go the ROM and make a fuss when they want to look in your purse because there's an exhibit with incan gold and they've beefed up security. Then have your socially awkward friends who went with you, berate you for it ever-after.

Especially the old guy with the beard at the corner of Yonge and Dundas who will suddenly yell "PRAISE JESUS" in your face right as you walk by him. People jumping when he does it is a great way to spot tourists.

Re: Must-do things in Toronto?
Yeah they got rid of the ITG machine entirely a while ago. There's a shitty DDR where pads don't even work properly on anymore, a PUI Pro, a DJMax Technika 3 which has no network anymore (since Pentavision took it down on New Years Eve), and a Re-Rave which isn't too good of a rhythm game.
