Inferno mode obtained. Diablo was cake in Hell. Elites are 100x harder than bosses.

Purple names = bitches. Surprised they don't get listed mass affixes or something, they're VERY VERY underpowered. Also Chaz you wont be tanking Inferno.

you need 900 resists to survive in inferno!

Although I think barbs do pretty well in inferno, just dont expect to tank as you're used to, for now.

Interesting. Oh well. I'm only at like 300 in all resists right now. I'll have to improve that. So wait, does that mean wizards are the tanks AND dps in inferno? That's balls.

That means wizards (and DH and WD) are dps and nothing is tank in inferno.

btw almost got my MF set to 300% raw... which means 400% with neph stacks and a fortune shrine \o/

Once the new patch hits it will be possible to tank inferno with 700 or so resist like you sort of can on solo. But it isn't exactly tanking like you would in others games because there are no healing class. You still have to try and dodge as much as you can.

Yeah man hardcore is all I play. I lost all my high-leveled heroes atm but I'll probably have at least one above lvl thirty in a few days. Furthest I've made it is Act I Hell.

The general idea as I understand it is that Blizzard is using this early phase for data collection and they'll be patching inferno to be actually fun over the next few months, since they couldn't realistically playtest that endgame area before release. At least we can auction damaged items now!

finally beat izual lol and the game on normal .. almost to skeleton king on nightmare still fun.. still dont know which skills to use for my DH lol right now im basically using elemental arrow for my main attack and playing around with others to see what I like..

some 1033 blue 1 hander

weapon is probably going to be my last buy, looking for at least 1350 dps with int/vit

also did u outbid me on the 390 with int and vit cause i will be mad

So I got to inferno Belial and shit owns me. Died like 40 times in phase 2 idk I already have 30k HP and 40k damage (w/ archery steady aim and sharpshooter) but it's still difficult as balls xd

Belial is gay, skip to act 3 and you will find you can probably get all the way through Siegebreaker.
You really shouldn't bother soloing Belial imo, obviously it's possible but it's so not worth the effort...

The Towers before Cydea are gayer than Belial though. Soul Rippers & Phasebeasts = nightmare fuel

Also I've been using a 2hander recently and it's been really nice. They are cheaper than 1hander+source and do lots of damage.
The drawbacks I can see are no flexibility to use a shield when you need one, and a slower attack animation when kiting, both of which I can live with.
Someone want to explain why all wizards seem to prefer a 1hander+source? Is there some theoretical higher possible dps with that setup for some reason?
And will the impending attack speed nerf make a difference in that choice?

If you are running blizzard/hydra as your only damage spells there's no need to have a high attack speed for like, Prodigy procs or something.
I know hydra scales off IAS but that is baked into the listed weapon DPS already, and my 2hander far outshines my similar-tier 1hander+source in that department.
Maybe I'm missing something.
