Just downed Belial Inferno too. Asmodan looks easier, but his act is also a mess with lol elites.

Any tips for Rakanoth in Act IV Inferno? He's probably the next brick wall.

Not sure what class you play but the fight is extraordinarily easy to cheese as a wizard.

Was at like 5% health the entire fight, good stuff.
If you're having trouble making it work, instead of Meteor, run Storm Armor with the Scramble rune. It will take way longer but far less chance of dying.
The last passive and skill slot can be anything because as far as I can tell they are all useless. Maybe Blizzard with Snowbound and Cold Blooded for more damage or something.
I would bet DH could do something similar with Smokescreen or Gloom, you have plenty of time to regen discipline because there's like 20 sec between attacks.
The only important thing to remember is that if he gets close to you he will summon adds, and Soul Rippers = death.
Make sure the boss is never on the screen and you're fine.
(I realize spending the entire time running around in circles half naked while never having the boss on the screen is probably not what Blizzard intended for this fight but **** it works so whatever)

You don't need 3 mil for a 1K dps weapon. Maybe like 1.2k-1.4k...

I'm not really well geared enough for Act III atm and tired of farming so I went ahead and played other classes for a while

Thoughts on:

- Barb: Really fun. Leap OP huehue. Stunlocking bosses is fun in normal but I don't see it working farther down the line. At nightmare act I following khazra barricade

- Monk: Fun but a little squish early on I felt. Had trouble in normal act II against noxious guardian elites until I leveled and got serenity. Need moar dodge; only in Act II normal

- WD: idk if it's just my twink gear (not even really, just a red square gem and two yellow squares, rest was found) but I am destroying shit throughout normal, esp once I had dire bats. Had a stupid death against azmodan cause I tried to tank his balls of fire, which apparently, still a bad idea on normal. I see wall of zombies being really useful later on, and grasp of dead is also great CC. On nightmare act I after skeleton king.

- DH: I made a hardcore DH at the very beginning but never really leveled. I've only just beaten skeleton king so I'll reserve any judgements. Kind of bleh the first 10 levels though.

I don't know about inferno, but the bosses in hell are still easily stunlocked. Even moreso now that I have the frenzy rune that has a chance to stun on each hit. I actually don't use leap though. I just go for ground stomp. I built tanky as hell so I don't really worry about getting overwhelmed. With a ton of life on hit, spamming revenge, and wrath of the berzerker, it's really hard for me to die. And now that I'm stacking all resists, I can stand on arcane sentries and be fine. I'm only lvl56 and close to belial so maybe things change, but that's what I've seen so far.

You can get a 950-1000 dps weapon for 300k if you settle for a blue. Its enough to get by, but isn't optimal.

Well then WTB 950-1000 DPS wep for anything under 1.1M... Cause 1.1M is the cheapest I can find for a 950 magic...

Completely depends on what type of weapon you're searching for. Bows and xbows cost a lot more than, say, 2-handed melee weapons. Like Izzy said, below 1k you don't have to spend more than a mil, but for a 1k 2-hander you could easily get one for 100k or something like that. It's retarded, but that's just how it is.

Downed Belial co-op yesterday, was easy as hell. Took three tries because I screwed up once on phase 3. The third time my barb friend just croaked at the start of phase 3 but it's so easy compared to phase 2 that I managed to solo it without many problems :>

I was having trouble in the tower of the damned/heart of sin because I keep getting lots of soul ripper/lasher rares/champions and bad trait combos on phase beasts (like firechains....95% of the time...)

So I'm pretty much just sitting here farming siege breaker to gear out myself and some friends who have yet to catch up.

Still willing to help anyone thats stuck earlier than me though (Except belial, ^%$@ that guy) Add Jerot#1523 / mention FFR.

Sure just add me (Jerot#1523), shouldn't take long at all. Plus I think you'll find butcher runs are a lot better than gob/dank, and really easy after you get a little gear.

Not to mention next patch making Act 1 drop Ilvl 62/63 gear, it might just be the best place to farm because of how easy it is and how much loot you get compared to Siegebreaker or higher farming spots.
