I made a Ketsarku Mozgalom v2 and a chart for Nageki no Ki for SMG2 that were both accepted with fixes, but it was right before I went to bootcamp so I never got a chance to fix them up.

I know you can edit what type of attacks are used on which player in Battle mode, although no one really plays battle mode anyways.

I'm stepping a bit out of StepMania and adding some ITG/PIU into the mix because there are some things that I'm sure people do not know.

1.) StepMania and ITG have an interesting visual bug that will cause a playfield stuttering that involves an overly high actuation rate with a really low x-mod and extremely high c-mod stacked together. It's definitely interesting...

2.) It is possible to replicate pump-style holds in SM 3.95 or earlier using two methods -- one of which was discovered by myself sometime in 2009. Tyler (Dark_Chrysalis) discovered a variation of this method that allows you to put multiple holds (or rolls) on top of each other while having a single trigger point. That was a fun night!

3.) Thanks to advancements in LUA scripting, it is possible to script player-specific modifiers in StepMania 3.95. StepMania 5/3.9/4 can't do that because they're lame.

4.) There's a long-standing rumor that says Kyle Ward put a voice sample saying "masturbate" in the song Destiny. This rumor was somewhat further reinforced in my head when I went to beta-test Positive Gaming's iDance, where discussion led to someone saying that Kyle randomly opened a dictionary and landed on the word masturbate, and chose that to be the vocal sample in Destiny. I have no idea, I can't make this shit up.

5.) Despite not having any charts that utilize this, Pump It Up Pro (1, potentially 2 as well?) actually supports lift steps because the engine is based off of StepMania 4.

6.) Personal bitter trivia: I submitted a pad file for Palindrome by Sanxion7 in the Mungyodance forums when Mungyodance 3 was being developed -- Renard promised the top 3 vote-getting files of a contest to be put in game, but apparently backed off of his promise for my file for whatever reason, despite getting most of the votes from staff members who were charting for the game. Thanks Renard.

I might be able to come up with more.

Excellent additions Halogen

· The mines in the beginning of Captain Murasa's Ass Anchor are actually the exact same notes layered in leonid's file for the song in Melon Collaboration Pack (with exception to the long columns of mines). My file is actually a restep of his chart.

· The mines in the beginning in CKMP4's BlythE are also the exact same notes layered in HST's file for the same song.

· Xoon 5 had over 200 file submissions, with only 46 files making the final pack release due to having high standard quality control. Countless well made files were scrapped last minute during pack finalization due to a certain individual. Many of those files ended up in packs such as Light Chancellors Pack 1, FFR Community Pack 3+4, and others.

· Stargroup/Cosmovibe was working on a Lucky Star Minipack Project. He stepped the songs from the character CDs, etc. This was never finished, but he did release a few of the files for beta testing on ODI.

· Solo Monogatari 1 was a delayed pack release. The pack was nearly completed in early 2010, with certain individuals given the pack to test, but wasn't released until late 2011.

· Magun in Xoon 5 is incorrectly labeled. The actual song title should be Ontlogy, with the song artist being SHADE.

· There are actually several instances where Kil, for whatever reason, mistranslated song titles or used inaccurate ones for his files. Another example is False Merchen in Dark Chancellors Pack, which is actually the song genre label in Pop'n Music. The actual song title is Memories of the Lake.

· As the title of the pack suggests, Xoon Finale was planned to be the final pack release from Bluexoon, before there was a high demand for another pack (Xoon 4 which followed shortly afterwards).

· The audio from igorsson's StepMania training program in Xoon finale is from some gay scat porn. I don't actually know the source though.

· aCiiiii officially holds the guiness world record for "High score on StepMania using a Keyboard" which was achieved at The Gathering 2009 in Norway on Toph's One More Lovely file.

· 76% of the songs in FFRCP Autumn 2011 are of Japanese origin and there are 58 files in the pack.

1) more than half of my files were never intended to be released but people still play them somehow
2) the gigaswede werbad was bathing for 50 years before he made snadstorm

that's why it's so good

rumors say he went back to bathing again shortly after releasing the file

Okay more stuff I remembered:

- There was gonna be a second expansion pack to mgd3, but was cancelled cause everyone involved got nothing done.
- I was told I won 50$ for stepping EternuS for the Stepmix 3, but the site admin apparently didn't see that my Hyrdocity file won instead.
- I got banned from the MGD forums for admitting I never played Super Metroid.
- IVKAS simfiles were supposed to be reminicent of early Beatmania files, where notes denoted certain sounds.
- Diverse System had simfiles and BMS's of some of their songs for D15, but are inaccessible since Konami's Cease & Desist.
- There was a "Stepmania CD" avaliable on the official site. It came with the latest build at the time as well as all Stepmix and Plaguemix simfiles.
- The steps in Utopia Challenge don't go to anything; Chris Foy admits to it.
- The Sweet Sims complications were done without the simfile author's consent, but oddly contain rare simfiles, such as stuff pre FFR and BMS database wipes.
- There's a solo file in Keys of Fire pack done by Malice.

When I beta-tested iDance with Positive Gaming, this ended up getting brought up and he told us what the real reason was (to this day, I will keep it in the vault ).

Dark Chancellors was a thing that originated on RedFraction. I made a hidden forum called "The International League of Extraordinary Gentlemen oh wait I mean Simfile Artists" and gave access to simfile artists I thought were worthy

Jimerax then suggested we shortened the name and came up with Dark Chancellors, and that's how that came to be.

I'm not sure if anyone figured out my version was a reference to the league of extraordinary gentlemen movie but whatever
