3) you got 3-0-0-0 on ambient angels and claimed you weren't even warmed up...i don't think you should be in this. my absolute best on that is like goods in the high teens with averages and boos and i can't even get that now. quite honestly idk how you're even D4.

I was in the same group as prawnskunk in Halogen's Christmas tourney this year. Got third behind him and funmonkey54. My levelranks is littered with 100+ goods and boos on files I can PA much better than combo (notice how many random-though-mostly-deserved misses I have in a few of my replays). I haven't thought much of it as there are other players in my division who have similar scores to me in their levelranks. I knew I could PA files in the 40-60 range but my random miss issue has hidden most of my improvement since starting back up last october. Literally a week ago I watched a couple vids of d6/d7 players, specificly OWA, leonid, and staiain. I noticed a couple things in their button mashing technique and tried implementing them. I've changed the height of my keyboard and played with my speedmod a tad. I have experienced a speed boost, especially when it comes to jacks. Since then, I've dropped my average rank from 500 to 423 (I could link the milestone thread to confirm this). My op.10 no.9 score would not of been possible for me a month ago. Most of the posted scores came after a few plays though the songs.

I was hoping some other d3 person (HalfStep) would be in on this rivalry thing so I'd have a better idea on my skill compared to the rest of d3. I fully anticipate being in d4 for the next official.

Dude no joke, we are about as even as it get's. those scores are "nearly" identical to what i have.....hence a fair rivalry. the scores 8 hour posted are without a doubt D5 scores.

I'm just going to make this fair and say they have to be new. I've got some old scores that top some scores I've posted but I've been just tracking new.

ssbmchamp in regards to your post. D5 is high end FMOs and low-mid FGOs
you'll notice I have scores where I cant get past 40 goods on a lvl 67 and yet I'll have scores I can SDG on a lvl 70.

Not everyone is going to be able to get 13 goods on Op.10. Nor is everyone going to be able to get 3-0-0-0 on Ambient Angels. The difference is skillset. I'm amazing at jumpstream but I suck at anything with minijacks and jump trills.

The purpose is to motivate and improve. Take for instance your Posers listen to fakebit... I can't even touch that score.. my best is 84-1-5-6 and I've tried... But I see how well you did on it and I'm going to strive for that now.

okay good :P i dont want to loosely shit in scores like 6-0-1-1 on anti-ares, 1-0-1-0 on big blue, 5-2-1-1 on toxiferous, etc etc.

@ssbmchamp He's def. above D4, but he is still 'close enough' to our skill to push ourselves to reach that and pass it. But it is good to have a nearly perfect rivalry in the mean time

I just now noticed the scoresheet lol....this is sweet!!! So basically we play all these songs and see who has the most "wins" (as shown in green) and then try and beat the winners scores so that "ideally" one of us has every song in green?
