Colorful Course [10 or 11]
This one I'm iffy about, but I thought that it was worth a shot.
The jumpstream sections, while a tad bit dense, are not nearly as hard as System Failure, All Y'all Bitches, or even Hey Hey Monkey and flow extremely well. The 32nd/24th bursts rival some 9s such as Into The Night. When compared to the borderline 10s like SAMBISTA, this doesn't even come close. The minijack section is somewhat difficult, but there are songs like Counter-Strike Gun Sounds with much trickier/draining jack sections. The stats on this song are comparable (actually a tad worse) to other recent 10s such as spanish, SAMBISTA and Fish Hell. Thoughts?

Re: Colorful Course [10 or 11]
11 due to lol jacks and being well over 2000 notes long with difficult patterns.

Re: Colorful Course [10 or 11]
definately 11 it is a long semi dense song. Only reason it has so many aaa's is because it is straightforward and easy to whore without getting mental blocks. Those jumpstreams don't compare to those vc you listed, especially when you put length in to the picture.

Length is a huge factor that carries multiple issues: physical stamina, mental endurance, and overall concentration. Longer songs with higher densities add potential mind-blocks to the picture more frequently. The density of Colorful Course is respectable for a low FMO, but the pattern flow is very clean. Borderline file, but I'd like to see this on the FMO side.

Re: Colorful Course [10 or 11]
I lean more towards high 10 for this file. I'm a player that has very low stamina, but even though this song was 3+ minutes I was able to AAA it. The patterns flow very nicely so it's not too difficult to learn. Idk, maybe I just want it to be a 10 because I don't want it to be my first 11 AAA but meh~

Eeek this one doesn't even seem that borderline to me. Lots of rolls plus some somewhat nasty 24th runs. Throw in some minijacks and a fairly long song and you have a nice 11.

Re: Colorful Course [10 or 11]
Definately an 11. Sambista should be an 11 too but thats another thread. The jacks aren't too bad but the JS can be draining and there are some pretty dumb transitions later on in the file which can easily cause someone to derp up.

Re: Colorful Course [10 or 11]
The jacks are what makes it FMO with no debate really.

Re: Colorful Course [10 or 11]
Always thought it was a 10, the jacks are really easy. But it's about as hard as Ambient Angels so it can stay a low FMO too, whatever.

Re: Colorful Course [10 or 11]
I always thought the mini-jacks were the easiest part of the song lol.
Keep it as an 11 because it's like 4 minutes long and nothing but JS and mini-jacks.

Also wc, the file is already an 11; the question is whether it should be bumped down to a 10. |
