I have finals around that time and I wanna focus on finishing my schoolwork before spending more time on my charts :[

Wouldn't do much good if the song choice is not conducive for stepping.

no i'm sorry i definitely wanna release it in may. it was superintense the first two weeks, then still pretty intense for another week and now it's slowed down significantly. i feel like if i put it too far ahead in the future it'll be one of those endless projects that you got tired of being hyped for months before it comes out. it's got enough files already and i know it's gonna get more, the only thing that's missing really is a file from a lot of the oldies who promised me to make a file . i could possibly postpone it another week or so but not more than that

On the contrary, I repeatedly hear that packs that take a long time to complete tend to be ones of better quality. Not telling you what to do, but just pointing out something I've heard a lot. *shrugs*

Depends on what the chart expectations are.

i think it still has the same problem, too much freezes. it also seemed to have a few errors, but i didn't even look for errors now i just looked for what freezes could be changed to make it more fun, here are some notes:

measure 24 this should obviously be faster on oni
measure 28 i don't think the last 8th needs to be a freeze it's the same sound as the earlier notes. i also think the first 8th should be on the uparrow for easier reading'
measure 33 i don't get the 16th jumps
measure 60 don't think these minifreezes are necessary, would've been cool if the file didn't have so much freezes
measure 72 don't think the 2 freezes in the middle are necessary
measure 78 don't think the minifreezes are necessary here either and they seem incorrect too?
meausre 82 don't like the last minifreeze
measure 84 don't think the second 4th should be a double freeze
measure 86 don't get the 16th jumps again
measure 87 sounds like the last triplefreeze is some cool color note shit
measure 88 what's that 24th freeze?
measure 89 why is that 8th a freeze
measure 92 this pattern should be made easier in heavy
measure 93 i don't hear that second 16th
measure 96 the freeze should start on the 8th...?
measure 107 not sure that sound warrants triple-freezes
measure 112 don't like these freezes but it's obviously a trick and keep them if u want
measure 114-115 you're representing everything with a freeze here... it's too much

still also think heavy could be made easier with a few less hands and easier 16th patterns
Just my thoughts on each comment.

M. 24: I really don't want to change that because that in reality is a three count 32nd burst, which would be a major bitchslap to the face. Mostly keeping how it is for flow reasons. I hope you understand :P
M. 28: Done
M. 33: The 16th jumps follow the up beat snare hit.
M. 60: Done.
M. 72: Kept the 4th freezes in the middle. I think they are necessary because they follow the noise that goes up in pitch.
M. 78: Changed it.
M. 82: Done
M. 84: It should. Follows the pitch that goes up.
M. 86: It follows the upbeat snare hits.
M. 87: Really? I can't hear anything.
M. 88: Huh. Its a bit of an eyesore. Done.
M. 89: Follows a pitch that goes up.
M. 92: Done
M. 93: Lol I'm hearing things now. Lovely. Done.
M. 96: Wow I fail at life. Done.
M. 107: Done.
M. 112: Understandable why you don't like them. Massive difficulty spike.
M. 114-115: Done.

I also toned down heavy. I'll send it again. Let me know if you want anything else fixed.

true but it can also make people lose interest. this happened with kbmp 1.5, it took us more than half a year longer than expected to complete it and when it came out it was like it was old news and was forgotten about pretty quickly. it's not even considered one of the main packs anymore yet it has good highly replayable files and was a supercool and unique idea. i feel like people are still really excited about this pack right now and i don't want that to die out before it's released

also, i wouldn't really know since i've just recently come back, but i get the impression that stepmania is having a major upswing right now and i want the pack to come out and keep that going instead of being released after everyone quit again

and as i said the amount of files is good already, i'm really just waiting for a bunch of people who hasn't submitted anything yet to send me something, and many of them would probably procrastinate until it's nearing release no matter when i set it lol :P. most of everyone who already submitted have had time to submit several files and are just chilling waiting for the pack to go places now, and i feel like setting a release date a month ahead will give everyone time and inclination to focus on finishing one last great file for this

but i can move it another week forward if a lot of people would want that, let's say may 11th instead, yes/no?

baq, those revisions sound great!! looking forward to your file

I have the stepping part down(sort of) But the music I like/find just doesn't float anyone else's boat. =/ Like Bmah said as well.

Also, I love KMBP 1.5
