it looks some people in this thread caused those flame wars apparently, so

for players
- post your opinions or criticisms, and don't flame/troll.

- you can make a thread of your pack when it's done.
- take criticisms, and don't overreact.

I think you guys should seriously consider stepping new material. I know it has been said in the past few pages (read the thread), but it something that needs more stress because obviously (I haven't played your files, but I trust Kommi's judgement) you have potential to be decent simfile artists.

Now when it comes to elitism, ODI, etc, you have to understand that ODI is not the entire community. Even if us at ODI don't like your pack, it doesn't mean it won't find a good spot in the community. The mentioning of ODI's elitism is overrated, as ODI's opinion, although important, is not final in the community.

I say you try harder next time, maybe then we'll take your stuff more seriously. Remember ODI might be elitist, but its users have been the creators of most (if not all) the packs you play today.

no it doesn't, but I never forced anyone to download all my files. I make files for myself. People liking them are just a bonus and i'm glad to entertain others. This doesn't make me a god or any better than anyone who makes files.


again, not everything is about odi. as a matter of fact, hardly any veterans from odi play stepmania anymore. the few that do are now known as dark chancellors and have pretty much defined the art of modern stepmania (hi kil). any ffr amateur could make good files with the right songs. heck even ffr has an elitist userbase. Most people here are pretty decent when it comes to helping others out

Simfiles are a past time for me.Not a job. I got a job and i need all my brain to make it.But if you were a "normal humain" you will enjoy cheap files like mine and zeb.Same for sylaxidontknow lol.Caus you will not paranoid on each little errors in a simfile. Sometime this is what that make the simfile good.And its real.
