Not if they're going to be recreations of current 2nd style sims. 3rd style is gonna be 90% all new music

Re: Submissions Reopened For FMO/FGO Simfiles ONLY
Do we have full Flashbulb permission? If we do there are a ton of his songs that would be perfect to step.
AND totally making Trisection v2. With it FULLY stepped. It's way too easy for what the music is. And the file made into solid streams would make it quite a bit more difficult.

Re: Submissions Reopened For FMO/FGO Simfiles ONLY
I dont even like the way this is all heading. files with alot of jacks are just dumb IMO. screw if the pitch repeats itself, make the file fun.
That said, I would like to see FMO songs that werent just FMO due to jacks |

Re: Submissions Reopened For FMO/FGO Simfiles ONLY
Stop thinking we're asking for dump files with tons of jacks in them. I'm simply telling you all you can put jacks in your sims now, so you have almost no restrictions.
We're still going to be judging very strictly, possibly even more strictly than before because of this. We're not gonna accept something with a ton of stupid bs jacks, only sims with jacks that actually do go to the music |

Re: Submissions Reopened For FMO/FGO Simfiles ONLY
Will I be allowed to step a 7:09 Classical Piano song called 'Mazeppa'?
This will probably be the easiest song to make a GOOD Guru, and get it right, but the length might hold me back.

Re: Submissions Reopened For FMO/FGO Simfiles ONLY
Personally, I wanted to make a file that has jacks in it, seeing as I haven't before.
They're aren't bs and aren't ridiculously hard. Just lots of minijacks at 160 bpm, kinda like the ones in piano etude. I don't know what difficulty the file is as I can't do it well...

Re: Submissions Reopened For FMO/FGO Simfiles ONLY
I highly recommend you get someone good to check your files before submitting if you aren't sure your files are accurate/good enough.
We aren't going to accept erroneous files, and making accurate and difficult and fun files is a difficult thing. |

Re: Submissions Reopened For FMO/FGO Simfiles ONLY
We need you m1dy. ='(
This game needs more vunderbar...and holds...and hands, and for those who cant hit 3 or more keys, go buy a computer that wasnt made in 1997, and make sure to buy a windows XP disk as well or ask for XP instead of vista when ordering. Anyway, I guess ill try to step a file. Last edited by [TeRa]; 01-30-2008 at 06:25 AM.. |

Re: Submissions Reopened For FMO/FGO Simfiles ONLY
Well, I saw in the beta that you can reset the key settings. That means that instead of using the arrows you can use the letters. I can only do 2 keys on arrows, but 4 on letters, so that would help.
anyhow, soon as spring break comes ima learn how to make files. hopefully I'll have one done by May. Then, if I use more time I'm sure I can make FMO and FGOs =D But not by end of Feb. |
