Must see it

This movie was pretty damn entertaining, well at least the whole theater that was sold out thought so

It was an enjoyable comedy. Good holiday flick.

My roommate, who loves chick flicks with a vengeance, did not enjoy it. So I'm not going to bother.

I don't like chick flicks as a rule, Tps, so I tend to trust the opinion of someone who does like them. Especially if she tells me it sucks, because she likes crappy movies

I was joking with you.

So, if she likes movies you don't, wouldn't a movie she doesn't like be one you would?

Well...no, not necessarily. I mean, I didn't want to see this one from the time I saw the previews for it, regardless of the fact that I love the cast (mostly the same people from Waiting, which actually WAS a good movie).

But it IS a chick flick thing. And while those are usually bad in a silly way that I can appreciate if I'm not paying to see it, there are some that are just so awful even lovers of crappy movies can't stand them. I belive this is one of them (Yours, Mine, and Ours is a good example, as is anything that has Hugh Grant in it).

And her taste isn't necessarily that bad in mainstream movies. But we're on the genre of crappy girlie romance movies here.

It looks pretty funny from the previews. I'll have to go see it sometime

If it's a chick flick, so is American Pie.

American Pie isn't. American Wedding definitely is.
