Default Fantastic 4

Walking into this movie I was excited and knew it would be awesome, walked out still excited and knowing it was awesome.

The Story: Was awesome. It didn't begin THAT slow but I don't mind anyways, without the story you are left clueless to how they all became "Fantastic".

The Action: Well the powers are progressive, basically get more intact with them as the movie goes on and do more impressive things with them. The fighting scene at the end is awesome. And for all those who have seen it or are going to seen it will know that "Super Nova" is insane.

The Acting: Damn good. The guy who plays Torch is funny as hell and a smartass. The guy that plays The Thing is awesome in his role. Jessica Alba is damn fine oh yeaaaaah (watch out for the bridge scene ) and Mr.Fantastic is pretty awesome too XD
Doom ( played by the guy Balthazar in the TV show Charmed) was PERFECT for his character, by far the best villain/bad guy ever.

Basically if I enjoy a movie it gets a 10/10 and if I don't enjoy it, well then it probably sucked ass cause I'm not that picky about movies but this derserves a 10 most definetly. I'll also be waiting for it on DVD.

Nice sum up on the movie, I thought it was really good. I think we're all going to expect a shitty sequal to it too.

If they didn't get the Thing right, I am going to commit seppuku. As a master of versus battles, every time someone goes "Hulk Versus Thing, who would win?" everbody says the Hulk because he's stronger (which is true), but then I always say "You're all noobs. The Thing is the clearly the winner, as he actually has a personality, and a great one at that." And then all the awesome people agree with me.

As a matter of fact, I am going to see what my most trusted associate on comic movies had to say about the movie...
"Just got back from the movie a few minutes ago. I hate to say this, but it wasn't a complete waste of my time. Some things about it were awful, but there were some decent laughs. The Johhny/Ben relationship was particularly spot on.

What I found most jarring were the unnecessary and completely tacked on Xtreme Sport Scenes Woooooooooo!

They come out of nowhere and I had to seriously ask myself if the studio wasn't contractually obligated to include scenes written by Johnny Storm himself.

FANTASTIC FOUR
written by Johnny Storm

THE ALPS - DAY

JOHNNY, who is totally handsome and awesome and "hawt" (so clever!) and everyone loves him the best, is in a bitchin' HELICOPTER. He hangs over the open cargo door to check out the bitchin' mountain. Also, the snow is bitchin'.

JOHNNY

Time to jump out of this helicopter with a snowboard strapped to one foot, a katana on the other, and a jet engine tied to my back.

THING

Duh, I am the Thing. I say duh.

REED

Yes, the hyperdimensional fluxgate to the upper bearing valve needs tightening. I'm a scientist. Behold, gravity! I invented it.

SUE

HARPY HARPY HARPY, SHREW BLATHER. PICK UP YOUR DISHES. WASH YOUR ROOM. BLAH BLAH RESPONSIBLE.

JOHNNY

Sorry, Sis! I can't hear you over these supermodels in bikinis.

MODELS (SIMULTANEOUSLY)

We love you JOHNNY!

JOHNNY winks at the camera, fade to black.

THE END"

It would appear that the nerdiest man alive I know of, Brian Clevinger, enjoyed it. Sounds good to me.

Definately one of the better Comic movies of the past 5 years (excluding the old superman/batman movies, as nothing can touch them)... and then terrible movies like Hulk, Electra, Spider-Man 2... and average movies like Spider-Man, Daredevil, and Punisher... and good movies like X-Men and X-Men 2...

I didn't like how the majority of the movie was back plot and there was very little battle between F4 and DD. Plus, it was set up WAY too cheesily for a sequel. Clearly they want to leave it open for a sequel, but jeez... it doesn't have to be so obvious. Other than that... as was already said... the acting was good, the relation to the comic was good, and Alba is HOT. Too bad there wasn't a nip-slip.

Omega, undoubtedly(Sp and not sure if it's a word) the Thing would win. The thing and the hulk are both really strong and shit but the real question is, "Is The Hulk invincible?" No I think not.

As I am not a fan of the comics, I left with mixed feelings.

The way the charachters were set up: Good... Except for the constant freeze-shots as the cosmic storm passed through the ship. I needed some wine with that cheese.

Some of the dialouge was rough. Very rough. But above par acting for every cast member was a huge plus.

The plot kind of lost it for me. It was rather boring... I wanted to see them go out and do some stuff with their powers rather than sit back and whine about it. Even Johnny Storm bothered me, because they're supposed to be super heros, not extreme idiots. I realize that it's in that characters nature, but I digress... In the sequel, I hope it has them doing some more fantastic stuff (Like the bridge scene or the show down with Dr. Doom) instead of moping about their problems.

I think the progression of Dr. Doom was very nice, and how he was always there... And then at the end began to exact his revenge. It was very calculated. You don't get that from very many movie villians.

All in all...

A decent movie despite it's flaws.

6.5-7/10

If you mean by "personality" that The Thing is emo, then yes, they got his personality right.

Anyway, it's a completely mediocre movie. But, well, I wasn't expecting much. So, it's not good, and it's not bad. MEH.

And Alba=teh hawt.

That was so nerdy, there is no way I could not give that 10 Omega points.

GTFO. You don't bring EMO to describe a movie that clearly does not have pussy little punkass goth kids or suicidal morons.

Nice movie. Although I did get pissed when they got their uniforms so Jessica didn't have to take off her cloths each time she turned invisible anymore
