Got a new bike.
For those of you who probably don't remember, I got a 2011 Kawasaki Ninja 250 to learn on in July. I recently sold that and bought:
1974 Honda CB550 K0. Here's the angle of the new handlebars. It's pretty far down and uncomfortable for now, but once I get a new seat it should be a bit better. I'll be turning it into a cafe racer once I get the carbs sorted. Since day one I've had trouble with it because the PO didn't take care of it. The clutch and throttle cables were stretched to hell, the carbs were filthy, ignition timing/breaker points way off, valves way out of spec, ancient battery, bad wiring, etc. Right now it's nearly perfect, except of course the carbs. Been fighting with those for nearly 3 weeks. I rebuilt them, then rejetted for pod filters, then went back to stock when I found pod filters wreaked havoc on the carbs. Now it's running slightly lean and I don't know why. I'll figure it out one day ~_~
