That's basically what I'm about..

Nintendo DS seems to be just gaming..
while
Sony PSP is a little more than gaming.. (music/movies and such)

If the Sony PSP doesn't deliver in the other areas then I just have to check out what games are available and price and etc.. It's just.. right now.. I'm leaning towards the PSP..

I'm just hoping the PSP can combine all my shitty handheld crap together.. CD players.. MP3 players.. etc..

i have a question, this isn't exactly on topic, but it is something that's been brought up in this thread a few times...if it's so much cheaper to make games on discs (people claim it's a 'fraction of the cost', then why were N64 and playstation games priced the same? it just seems to me that if discs cost so much less, then they should be priced less off the shelf

Economics. If all the games for one console were $10 more, nobody would want to get that console unless they had plenty of money to blow on games.

In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.

So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.

Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O

exactly...so why don't the disc systems just lower their game prices by 10 dollars, hence either making cartridges cost more, or causing them some serious money problems?

True Gaming

Im with Sony all the way through Thick and Thin. PSP all the way. Although I remember hearing about this about 7 years ago, I dont see why they had waited so long before attempting this.

You forgot that Sony uses metric time, while Nintendo uses Standard Time (meanwhile, Microsoft breaks time ). Therefor, Sony's battery life is miniscule compared to the Big N's
