Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2
I think that the song flight of the bumblebee is actually very doable. Not like FCable but its rather easy to pass.

Passing difficulty isn't considered much on this list.

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2
How in the heck did Hatten Carnival! v2 end up with 817 notes?!
It scared me because I was going on a Skill Token AAA rampage and Hatten Carnival! v2 came up. I looked and saw it was Standard, and that it was 1:37 long. When I saw 817 notes, I wondered how the hell a Standard song could have that many notes in that little time and still be Standard..... there'd ne no way, lol. Hatten Carnival! v2 has 427 notes. =) EDIT: Holy **** I literally just sightread AAAed MaxX AttaxX. It is also listed as 817 notes and has 731 notes. Is 817 a filler value? Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2
I didn't check all the notes Tass had placed on each token song, just trusting the ones he already had to be right.
Could be he wasn't paying much attention, and just c&p'ed somthing wrong. Might be others within the token section, but I think most of them are right. These are FMO's not VC's as well 75 (ST) Kyuin (2028 Notes / BPM 195) 76 (ST) PLANETZ (1166 Notes / BPM 190)

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2
Combo counts on Hatten v2/MAXX/Melonman are my mistakes, fixed.
Disconnected Mobius and SSSG v2 have 817 notes. also, it's because Tass' and my ratings are different on Kyuin/Planetz so leaving it until they are discussed more. or should they be lowest 77? Last edited by jimerax; 10-10-2007 at 05:59 PM.. |

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2
IMO Kagami should be very difficult, especially if Roller Coaster Ride is.
It's decent speed, has transitions between jumps and stream, some tricky patterns, tricky rhythms and can be confusing at the halved BPM part. Just my opinion. |

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2
youkoso = very diff?
compared to the other very difficult songs in front of it, it looks more of challenging. The hard part may barely last, but it's an crapload of notes for its difficulty. And by load of notes i don't mean the whole song...i mean the jumpish streamish part |

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2
Actually, Youkoso is kind of easy except for the jumpy parts. Maybe 57 is kind of underrated, so I suggest it be 58, between Sensorium and Sepia, obviously because it's not nearly as hard as the trills.
Also, I don't think Carrousel is really a VC anymore, maybe 67 between Uber Rave and Dazzling Soul; the patterns aren't as hard as Dazzling but it's more intensive than Uber, even without a last-note jack. Thank ye! |

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2
I didn't think it at first, but Mute City Remix definitely is not a VC.

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2
Agreed. Mute City is a mid-Challenging, in my opinion.

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2
I think where JX has mute city as a mid-high challenging is where it should be.

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2
Mute City could be high-challenging.
youkoso is ok for high-VD IMO. I don't change carrousel because it has been fine for the lowest VC with dot death. |

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2
Hey how is {Red Alert} Very Difficult? {Red Alert} is WAAAAYYYY faster than half the Challenging songs and it gets Very Difficult. Not only that but the timing on it is really tricky to get if you can actually manage to pass the amazingly fast stream at the beginning.
I played Gaussian Blur 3 and seriously it was as fast as {Red Alert} (okay maybe a little faster) and it's Challenging (I thought it was Very Challenging but I guess not). If you have your reasons that's cool jx, but I'm somebody who can play Challenging stuff like Amefuri Koneko and Delirium and score SDG or AAA, and I can barely FC {Red Alert}, so if it really is a Very Difficult, I'm curious as to why, that's all. =) Last edited by TheSeventhSign; 10-13-2007 at 12:02 AM.. |

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2
Red Alert has way easier patterns than GB3 though. And most of Red Alert is rather easy except that fast stream.

Re: R1 - Actual Song Difficulties V2
I agree but it's a short song, half of it is dedicated to the stream. If half a song is Challenging, then the Very Difficult players are going to be a little mislead, I think. It would be like putting 400 really easy notes in Uber Rave and lowering it to Very Difficult. It wouldn't be fair because it still has all those Challenging elements to it.
But if that's the reason it's Very Difficult, okay. |
