Re: BF and I bought a new car
I'd prefer to not have to drive for extended periods of time isn't all that exciting for me. However I do really want a car that has an auxiliary audio port so I can play things from my phone to make it a bit more enjoyable. Other than that I probably only care about gas mileage.

Re: BF and I bought a new car
I live in a big city so public transit is pretty much sufficient for getting anywhere. Having a car would be nice but I can't justify the cost.

Re: BF and I bought a new car
I'm in the same boat, so I fully understand. On top of that, the grief of driving in a big city, the traffic, and the parking costs make it nearly completely pointless. If you have efficient public transit, there's no reason to use a car

Re: BF and I bought a new car
Well, there are some not-so-readily-obvious advantages to buying a new car to consider as well. Here's something from an article I found
For me personally, when it comes to weighing the pro's and con's of buying new vs used, I'd still rather go with used. My car which I recently gotwithin the past year is relatively cheap (it's KBB value is around $1500), it's comfortable, the A/C works, it's easy to drive, it hasn't given me any problems, and it gets me from Point A to Point B EDIT: LOL, I'm dumb, sorry reincarnate. I read that as "never buying a new car", my bad. |
