See there's the problem. You keep asking "why?" (some other ppl too, and not just here). It's even more silly because I could simply ask you "why does it need any reason ?". If you see no purpose to this, it's fine, but you can't use that opinion as an argument that is all.

That being said, since this is so hypothetical, it might not be improvable to the point of accurately rating stuff. However it gives another way to look at difficulty based on how the player base do on them (in a more empirical way)

I think the real issue here is that in the original post he claims to have had fun with the experiment, which was almost entirely math. As we all know, this is impossible, as math is not fun.

On a serious note, pretty cool to see someone taking the time to go through all this experimenting. You do you man, keep at it.
