Ants Of The Sky [?/10]: This was a really fun file until the file decided to quit out a few minutes in probably because of the engine not liking the 13:15 length of the song. I personally don't think your typical FFR player is going to want to play a song of that length.

Back of the Yards [10/10]: This was really fun to play and I would definitely play it in FFR. I love how the file progressively gets more difficult.

Deadly Stealth [9/10]: This is a really fun file to play. The only part I would change is make m45-m52 the same kinds of notes as the other parts of the song that have that beat (minijacks).

Neo-Bushido [7/10]: This has potential to be a really good file. There are a couple of concerns I have though. I'm having trouble figuring out what m6-m9 goes to. There was one part in the file with heavy guitar (I think on the Teleperion that part doesn't show up because it could be ghost notes) where instead of using the left and right pattern used, I would've used stream instead.

trumaestro finished the primary judge task for November/December 2016 Set 3. The notes can be seen below; this thread is being moved over to Completed Sets and the results/notes will be updated in the November/December 2016 post.

The passed file (Ants Of The Sky) review can be seen here.

[PASS] Ants Of The Sky {Between The Buried And Me} (Ghost_Medley)
-My teeth taste funny today...
-Not certain about stepping the whole song. It seems well executed though. That and my bias with this song means I’m passing it on.

[5/10] Back of the Yards {The Flashbulb} (happyhardcor3)
-10.613 - see no reason not to include this
-13.301 - 12ths aren't quite accurate, found it syncs well on the 8th and 24th at 13.613
-22.676 - could include this sound
-36.551/39.551/42.551/48.551 - this sound was a jump at 35.613/47.613, keep consistent
-37.488/40.488 - missing note
-38.426 - ghost note
-38.520 - jump to nothing; noise you're probably looking for lands on the 8th. Hoping the "hidden" jack that is here on 2 is changed too.
-41.426 - these louder noises land on the 16ths, not the 8ths. Then keep the jump for the drum at 41.801. Can do something like 1[23]1[34][12], whatever you like.
-59.020 - would remove this jack
-64.488 - missing note, 32nds start after the 4th
-64.863 - This little gap is weird, the buzz does continue in here. You can probably get away with just a big 24th roll starting at 64.676; won't be technically accurate, but would make sense with the music played here
-65.895 - ghost note
-68.332 - white jump can just be a 16th, unless you change all the other notes of this sound to white
-69.082 - not a fan of this pattern on the left hand. You can have it just be a 32nd, and split it up, 141 for example
-71.051 - find this part syncs well with the 48ths at 71.270/395
-72.395 - syncs better on the 8th
-73.020/73.207/74.176 - seem to be ghost notes

-113.051 - I like what you're doing with the piano chords from this point. There are a few you're missing that don't seem deliberate, and are fine to put in. I would also recommend stepping -all- of the piano from this point with this colour.
-167.051 - Stepping only the piano after this point is desperately boring, and makes it seem like the file is unfinished. Recommend either cutting the song here (a very strong choice, as the outro is somewhat lacking compared to the rest of the song) or stepping the drums too.

The chart would benefit from some finer attention to detail than is presented. Has a great deal of potential, and some really cool ideas, but the execution is lacking somewhat.

[6/10] Deadly Stealth {DanJohansen} (M0nkeyz)
-1.522 - interesting to not step the synth instrument here and in this intro. It works well given how it fades.
-11.722/11.962 - I don't hear these notes
-22.162-53.362 - The layering is somewhat unclear in this section. It's changed from the opening section, which is fine, as long as this section is consistent. Mostly just notes like 23.362 aren't layered when they used to be. I might even suggest layering the guitar instead of the drums here.
-25.642 - could change to 4 to keep consistent structure, repeating the notes the synth is on
-31.642 - ghost note
-31.882 - missing note for background noise you've been stepping; its pattern changes slightly here.
-54.082/58.162 - the music doesn't really trill here, but it's not a huge deal
-56.002/59.842 - these jacks are not technically correct; only the first three notes should be a jack. The way it is now is more fun though...
-62.002-68.242 - personally feel like this section could be better if less were included, avoiding some filler notes like 65.482/66.082
-71.122/78.802 - don't hear this first jack
-115.282 - don't quite hear straight 16ths here. A nice touch with this section would be to bring back the pattern from 56.002 here and change it slightly. Then would be a nice contrast at the next section to keep it the same.
-125.122 - see 56.002
-133.642/136.522 - ghost note

File is overall fun, but needs a fair bit of clean-up.

[8/10] Neo-Bushido {DanJohansen} (M0nkeyz)
-2.824 - more accurate as 123344
-161.466/.538 - ghost notes
-162.466 - you can get away with keeping to 24ths here, it would work a bit nicer
-220.002/.216 - ghost notes
-225.038 - don't hear these 32nds, can just have 16ths

File seems to drag a little bit, but changes enough to justify the length. Overall very well done!

James May resolved the passed file in this set.

[9/10] Ants Of The Sky {Between The Buried And Me} (Ghost_Medley)
-The file is on sync, I haven’t really spotted any errors to the song that I could recall when going through this file numerous times between playing it and going on Arrow Vortex.
-That’s saying though, the one thing that I had to question myself is “Are people be willing to play a 13 minute song?” And honestly, I really do think that there are people willing to play this file.
-So, considering that all is done for, I will say that the song’s length is one of the major factors of debating to accept it, but I think that the constant changes, the flow, how on point it is, that the length itself is not the biggest detriment of the file but rather something to immerse yourself in for the ride.
-With that, great job on this file. It deserves to be in the game.

Id play a 13 minute file, depending on how hard it is. The impresario is 9 minutes but its way too easy to spark interest for me. Yet TGWP full version is like 17 minutes and i played the whole song and the length was fine for me.
